Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. Y1. Mr.. W. R. Hinkle
absent.
City Engineer, H. U. Wray, submitted the following Final :estimates
which were approved and signed by the .hoard:
Final :estimate for the pavement improvement on Prairie Avenue
from Webster Street to Grant Street under Improvement Resolution No.2275 in accordance
with the contract between the City and the Albert Construction Com-corny, in the amount
of $281528,59.
Final .Estimate for the pavement improvement on Huey Street from
Lincoln Way West to Elwood Avenue under Improvement Resolution 1�o.2260, in accordance
with the terms of the contract between the City and the Albert Construction Company,
in the amount of $PI91309,3I.
Final .estimate for the pavement improvement on Michigan Street
from south line of South. Street to point 173 feet south under Improvement Resolution
No.2242, in accordance with the terms oe the contract between the City and Rieth-Miley
Construction gompany, in the amount of �5,667,27,
Final Estimate for the pavement improvement on Marrietta. Street
from Sample Street to (the alley south of Sample Street under Improvement Resolution
Vo.2239, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Rieth-Riley
Construction Company, in the amount of $I1483.05.
City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed the primary assessment roll .for
the pavement improvement on Marietta Street from Sample Street to alley south of Sample
Street under Improvement Resolution :No.2239,
In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby, orders that
on the 26th. , day of November 1929 , this Board will meet in their office at 10:00 A. M.
to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for
said improvement and will decide whether the severp.l lots and parcels of land have been
or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board further orders that
notices be mailed to property owners according to law.
City engineer, H. G. array, filed the primary assessment roll for
the pavement of Michigan ►street from south line of South Street to a point I73 feet
south under Improvement Resolution No.2242. i
In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby,, orders that,
on the 26th. , day of November 1929 , this Board will meet in their office in the City '
Hall at I0:00 A. Idl., to heir and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
has been assessed f car said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and
parcels of land have been or w ill be benefited in the amounts shown on said roll or in
a greater or less sum than that shown on said roll. The .board further orders that
notices of said hearings shall be mailed to property owners according to law.

parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts shown on said roll or in
a greater or less sum than that shown on said roll. The board further orders that

the pavement on Donald Street from Leer Street to bampson btreet under Improvement
Resolution Eo.2273.
In the above named assessment roll, the Board. hereby orders that
on the 4th., day of December I929, this Board -ov ill meet in their office in the City
Hall at 7-I5 P. M- , to he�:r and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and
parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said roll. The
Board further orders thet notices of said hearing shall be published on the 29th. , day
of November and on the 30th., day of November I929, in the bouth trend News Times and
Tribune according to law and that notices be mailer_ to property owners according to
law.

In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared. but
no written remonstrance was filed and the Boardt being fully advised in the premises, fin

improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer,
The Board, therefore, decid es ' to take final action on said improvement resolution and
;declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification,

In the above named improvement resolution, one remonstrator appeared but
no -written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being; fully advised in the premises
finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of, land liable to be assessed for
said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City
Engineer. The Board, therefore, .decides to take final action on said improvement resolu-
tion Xo.2310 and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without
modification.

by L. W. Hammond, attorney for Matthew B. Hammond, protesting against the amount of

!persons interested in said assessment roll and being fully advised in the premises, the
'.Board decides to over rule said written remonstrance and finds that the several lots and

amounts shown on said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, takes final action on
'said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.

In the above named assessment roll, Christian Valz remonstrated
against the amount of his assessment in this improvement a-nd the hoard after hearing
all n arsons interested in said assessment roll, decides to continue hearing until
Tuesday, hovember 26th., I9292 Pt I0:00 A. IT.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll
for the Sub -Trunk Sewer in Eckman Street under Improvement resolution klo.2279.
In the above named assessment roll the hoard decides to contini

some satisfactory arrangement with the hoard in the matter of repairing or replacing
the pavement on South -Main Street, which was damaged during the construction of said
Eckaman Street Sewer.
