Minute of meetings held November I2th. , and November 13th. , 1929, read and approved. The board approved the following Guarantee Bonds: Guarantee .fond of the Albert Construction Company for the pavement on Lebanon Street from Broadway to Indiana. Avenue under Improvement Resolution 1-�o.2268 in the amount of $429.27 signed by Inland .bonding Company, Cu,--,rentee Bond of the Northern Indiana. Construction Company for the sub -trunk sewer in Eckman Street under Improvement Resolution No.2279 in the amount of $11396,57. Uuarentee Bond of the Albert Construction Company for the pavement on Fremont Street from Lincoln Way West to klumboldt Street under Improvement Resolution No.2259 in the amount of 0575o38 signed by Inland Bonding Company. Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Company for the pavement on Crane Street from Olive Street to Kaley Street under Improvement Resolution No.2264 in!", the amount of $985.98 signed by Inland bonding °'ompany. The Board approved the renewal certificate for the Bond of Louis Niesgod- • ski in the amount of 5$1.000.00 signed by the Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company. Upon the recommendation of 4'',m. F. Qualls, the Board approved the install- ation of a light in the alley betitleen Main and Lafayette Streets from the alley south of "Npshington Avenue to the first alley south, at a cost of $50.00 per year. The Board approved. the Guerantee Bond of the .Meth Raley Construction Oompany for the pavement improvements on Eckman street, Irvington Street, F irview Avenue , Leer Street , Clyde Street , victoria Street, Al t[•e ld.` street, Vernon street , York Road and. Tyyckenham Drive in Ridge -dale Fifth Addition, in the amount of $I0,000.00 signed by Southern Surety Company. This being- the date set, bids we--•e received opened and read. for the pavement of the alley east of 111i^mi street from victoria street to Altgeld Street under Improvement Nesolution Blo.2297. Bids are as follows: Hoban and Roach E. T. Tranberg gre ding .85 .80 concrete pavement 2.I5 I.95 This being; the date set, bits were received., opened and read for the pavement of the alley north of LaSalle Avenue from Scott Street to west line of lot #7 li Keefers Sub under Improvement Resolution No.2298. Bids are as follows: Hoban and Roach E. T. Tranberg grading .85 .70 concrete pavement 2.00 I.95 City engineer, t'. G. tray, filed the tabulation of bids for the sewer in Sample Street, Vermont Place, and Revere 'lace under Improvement Resolution No.23I4. Tabula t ion is as follows: 0 Northern Indiana Construction uo. 4,I00,75 Bids having been received for the sewers in Sample, Vermont Place and Revere Place under Improvement Yesolution No.23I4. the Board this I9th., day of Novembe I9291, hereby awards. the contract for said improvement to Northern Indiana. Construction Company at their bid_ of 5'54, I00. 75. City Engineer, B. G. Tray, filed the primary assessment roll for the pavement on Monroe Street from Kaley Street to Olive Street under Improvement Resoluti . No.2270. in the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby orders that on the 4th., day of December I9299 this Lard will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. 1411. s to hear anc receive remonstrances from all persons vdaose property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of lend have been or will be benefited. in the amounts shown on said roll or in a .greater or less sum than that shown on said roll. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the 29th. , day of November and on the 30th. , day of November I929 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. The -oard approved the .Final Estimate submitted by City engineer, Ji. G. dray, for the ,e.Fer in Elmer Street between Long;ley Avenue and f'rederickson Street under Improvement Resolution Ro.2299 in the amount of 2,339, 50, City Engineer, hil. C. "'ray, filed plans, specifications and estim?te and Tuesday, 1�ovem:b er I9t h. , 1929. the Board adopted said. plans and specifications together with Improvement Resolution Vo.2317 for the local secrer improvement in Clyde Street from Altgeld Street to a point 225 feet north. (See files f,or copy of msolution. ) In the above named improvement resolution, the Board hereby, order that on the 4th. , day of December 1929 , this Board will meet in their office in the City 13-811 at 7-I5 P. M. , to he p r and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is liable to be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said impro- vement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as mportcd by the City Engineer.' The .bond further orders' -that notices of said hearing shall be published on the 22nd., day of Rovember and on the �9th. , de y of November 1929 in the South Bend Nears Times and 'Tribune according to law. The -board approved claims for various departments in the amount of $10.160,34 and hereby orcers the City Controller to pay same out of appropriations shown on said individual claims. The Board epproved the Plat of Aorth Sunnyside Secod Addition to The City of South -bend, Indiana with the following Dedication: D E D I C A T I 0 N. Ind iana, is a subdivisi on of the following described property, to -tit: Beginning at the intersection of the South line of Sorn Street and the center line of Harriett Street as platted and laid out in North Z)unnyside Addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana, thence crest along the south line of said Sorin Street a distance of 805.20 feet to the East line of Park Place Addition, thence north along the east line of said Park Place Addition a distance of 289.82 feet to the North line of Bissell Street, thence East along the north line of said Bissell Street a distance of 805.20 feet to the center line of Harriett Street, thence south along the center line of said Harriett Street a distance of 288.68 feet to the place of beginning.
