This being the" date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the avement improvement on `i'onti Avenue from Tecumseh Avenue to west line of Irquois Street nder Improvement Resolution -No.2256. :1n the above named assessment roll, one remonstrator appeared but no writte emonstrances were filed and the Board, after hearing all persons interested in said roll Inds that the benefits the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said mprovement are equal to the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides o take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things rafified, onfirmed and approved vrithout modification and the proceedings closed. GWray ;City Engineer, the Board approved a driveway located at the corner of Mishawaka Avenue and 27 th. , Street. This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the u . pevement of Viilber Street from Lincoln bray West to Elwood Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2253. I' • In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed by the New York Central Railroad Company and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, deci�es to modifty the assessment roll as follows: ' 'Reduce the assessment on LotI C. R. Smiths Ist.., from 4972 to 28.75 Reduce assessment on Lot 20 in C. R. Smiths Ist., from 50.28 to 2907 Reduce assessment on Lot237 in C. R. Smiths Ist., from 50,28 to 29007 is Reduce assessment on Lot 288 C. R. Smiths 2nd., from 49.69 to 28.73 0 • • 7_j The Board decides to modify the assessment roll as shown above and hereby orders the City Engineer to make this modification on the roll and let said roll show City of South Bend benefited in the amount of $84.35, which is the amount of the re- ductions, and ;to be paid for by the Board of Public Ivorks out of their refunds, awards and indemnities appropriation. M4ith the above modification, the Board finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been -benefited in the amounts shown on said modified roll and declares said modified roll in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. , The Board now orders said assessment roll deliver ed to the Department of Finance. This being the date' set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the pavement on Elmer Street from Lincoln YVay V7est to Elwood Avenue under improvement resolution No. 2230. In the above riamed assessment roll, Ella Yloolfer owner of a tract of land 185.5 feet on h2lhibriL, Street remonstrated against the assessmei @or 4 water connections along said property. In view of the fact that sewer connections had been assessed against this property on the Llwood Street Sewer, the Board decides to reduce the asses menton this tract of land in the amount of $42.00. No other remonstratorscappeBred and no_written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premise finds that the several lots and pardels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on said modified roll and therefore, the Bon rd decides to take f inal action on said roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as modified and the proceedings closed.
