The Board signed and approved same in said amount. Eity Engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted the Final Estimate for the pavement on Fox Street from Leer treet to Sampson Street under Improvement Resoluti No.2224 in the amount of $30,639.07. The Board signed and approved same in said amount: This being the date set, hearings were had on the following Vacation Resolutions: 9 Vacation Resolution No.2309 for the Vacation of the alley north 11 of Yukon Avenue from the west line of Woodward Avenue to the east line of the alley i, west of Woodward Avenue and from the west line of the Alley west of 1400dward Avenue { to the east line of Portage Avenue. (See files for a opy of resolution. Vacation of the alley south of Bertrand street from Bendix Drive II to First alley east of Bendix Drive, under Vacation Resolution No.2308. Vacation No.2307 for the vacation of a part of lot 9 in Gallaghers Subdivision to wouth Bed, Ind. (See files for copy of resolution.} In all of the above named resolutions, no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance was filed and the decides to take final action on said xwddxmx. vacation resolutions and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved:. and the alleys vacated. The 3oard nmv orders that lists or rolls be prepared of all owners and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sough to be taken which lists or rolls will also describe the property beneficially affected by such vacations. This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resolution No.2277 for the vacation of the alley south of Pleasant ''treet from 26th., "'treet to east line of the alley west of 26th., Street. (See files for copy of resolution.} In the above named vacation resolution No.2277, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the .Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said vacation resolution and declares same in all things ratifi» ed confirmed and approved ani the alley vacated. The 3oard now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected by such vacation. i This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation resolution No.2276 for the vacation of the alley east of Sunnysicle avenue from Sorin Street to { north line of alley south of Sorin Street. (See files for a opy of resolution.) In the above named vacation resolution No.2236, Mr. , C. W. Taylor, { appeared before the Board requesting that said hearing be continued until until November 26th.9 1929. In the above named Improvement Resolution No.2302, the Board dee:ides to continue hearing until November I2th.., 1929, at I0:00 A., M. City Engineer, H, G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimate and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with_ the following improvement Resolution: Improvement Resolution No.22I3 for the pavement of Naney street from Crumstown Avenue to Westmoor street and westmoor Ltreet from Nancy street to Sheridan Avenue. (See files for copy of resolution. In the above named improvement resolution No. 22I3, property owners waived all objections on and in defense to any defect in said proceedings and to any violation in procedure for the esonstruetion of street improvements as fixed by law, whereupon the Board received, opened and read sealed proposals for the construction of said impsovpm6n&sas follows: curb grad ing Bituminous Macadam on sheet asphalt top Williston Cont. Hipskind at his low bid of $2,499.44. Bids having been received for the local sewer in Elmer 6treet between Longley ®venue and Frederickson Street under Improvement Resolution No.2299, the Board this 29th. , day of October I92 9, hereby awards the c ontraet for said improvement to Edward DeJulio at -his low bid of $I,I8I.60. The Board signed and approved claims for various departments in the amount of 44, 568. 99 . The Board. also approved a Maim of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad 4o. in the amount of $105,390,67 to be paid out of track removal fund and the Board, hereby orders " ontroller to pay same out of said fund. The Board approved pay roll- claims for various departments in the amount of ;13,690,44, including Engineering payroll and clerks payroll to be paid out of Track Elevation fund and the Board, Pier eby orders City Uontroller to pay same out of their respective funds. The Board approved the driveway plan for a Light House Filling Ration at the corner of Sample 60treet aria -O-ellows -Jtreets, as petitioned by owner. City Engineer, H. G. stray, filed the primary assessment roll for the pavement improvement on Altgeldq Vietoria and Vernon �Itreets under Improvement Resole tion No.2024. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the I2th., day of November I929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at I0:00 A. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has beep assessed .for said improvement and. will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said roll. m Meeting adjourned at II-30 A.
