In the s bova named asasessme nt roll, the Board, hereby, orders that on the
22nd. , da of October I929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall
at I0:00 X., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and
parcels of ,land `have been benefited in the amounts named on said roll.

Board met in regular session at 9 A. M. All members present. Minutes of meeting
held October I5th., 1929, read and approved.

City Engineer, submitted copy of -contract for the heavy traff io sheet asphalt 'J
pavement improvement on Dohald Street _ from leer Street to Sampson 6treet, in aecordanee..
with the terms of the contract between the City and the Albert Construction Company,
contractors, under Improvement Resolution No.2273.. The Board signed and approved same
in the amount of. .26, 672.60.
City Engineer, H. G. `Wray, submitted Partial Estimate No.I for the light trafffio
concrete pavement improvement on the Ist. , alley north of Colfax Avenue from Esther
Street to Greenlawn Avenye, in accordanee vdth the terms of the contract between the
City and H. H. Barnes, contractor, under Improvement Resolution No 2258. The Board
signed and _approved same in the amount of $I, I77.25.
City Engineer, H. G. 'Wray, submitted Fartial .Esti mate No.I f or the sewer improve-
ment in 'Westmoor street, in aeeordan ce w ith the terms of the a ontraet between the City
and Rocco 5 irieri, contractor, under Improvement Resolution No.2285. The Board signed
and approved same in the amount of 48,368.I0. ;
The Board signed the contract with H.. `A. Barnes ifor the pavement of the alley
east of High street from Milton Street to Calvert Street under Improvement Resolution ii
N0.2290 in the ,amount of `'466.57. The Board also approved the construction bond of same 11
f orIO0% of the contract pricesigned _ by United Otat es Fidelity & Guaranty Company.
The Board signed the contract with H. N. Barnes f or the pavement of the Ist.
alley north of Uolfax Avenue from Esther Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Improvement
Resolution No.2258 in the amount of �I,385.00. The Board also 4proved the construetia2}
bond of same for I0096 of the a ontraet price signed by United Qtate s Fidelity & Guaranty
Company.

In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no
written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,
finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts
shown on said assessment roll. The Board,, therefore, decides to take final action on
said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment
toll delivered to, the Department of Finance.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the
pavement of Johnson street from Elwood A -venue to Keller Street unLLer Improvement

In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no
written remonstrance- was filed and the Apard, being fully advised in the premises,
finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts
shown on said assessment roll. The Board,', therefore, decides to take final action on 'I

for the opening of the northwest corner of Kline Street and Calvert Street. (See files
for copy of resolution,)
In the. above named c and enn.at ion re solution, no remonstra tors appeared and no
written remonstrance was Filed but the Boards being fully advised in the premises, de-

cider to modify said resolution, showing the district to be as follows:
"Beginning at the ICE corner of Calvert Street -and Vernon 'street, thence N
to the SE corner of Vernon 6treet and Dayton +street, thence E to the SW corner of
Dayton Street and Twyckenham Drive, (formerly Kline Street ,) thence S along the west

The above described district ping the only property affected by said condemn-
ation resolution No.2306.
"ith the above modification, the Board takes final action on said resolution
and. declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as modified.
The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all 1 owners and holders
of property in said modified district -end of valuable interests therein sought to be
taken or to be affected, which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficiall
affected by such condemnation,
This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.2304 for
the pavement on Hydraulic Avenue from point 136 feet north of LaSalle Avenue to east
Rice bridge. (See files for copy of resolution.)
TM the above named improvement .-°e solution, remonstrators appeared but no writte
remonstrpnce was filed and upon the request of property owners affected by such resolu-
tion, the Board decides to continue hearing until Tuesday morning, November I2th. , 1929.
The Board approved the petition of the Twyckenham Land and Investment Company
for lights in Ridgedale Fourth Addition as follows:
Woodisde btreet--------- 5 lights
nidgedale Road --------- 4 lights
Avobda:le Road --------- I light
Robinhood Lane --------- 3 lights
Upon the recommendation of 0m. F. Qualls, the Board approved the installation
j of a 4000 lumen light, mast arm construction over head service, on North Michigan Street
at Dinan o.urt, at a cost of ?45.00 per year.

City Engineer, H. G. 'v,ray, filed plans and specifications and estimate and
the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with the following improvement
Resolution.
Improvement resolution No.23II for grade, curb and walk on Rushkin "'treet from
alley west of Clover Street to Oakland_ Street. (See files for copy of resolution,)
In the above named improvement resolution No.23II , the Board hereby orders tha,
on the 20th., day of Roven.ber I929-T this board will meet in their office in the City
Hall at 7-I5 P. TV%. to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
