Lincoln av West to Humboldt Street under Improve�aent Resolution .No.2959, the Board.,
this 2nd., day of October 1929,, -hereby, makes a preliminary order for concrete pave-
1 merit heavy traffic as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved,
' and sets the I5th.., day of October 1929, as the time when said Board shall either
pass on petitions for a change in the type of pavement otherwthan that specified in
' the preliminary order, award the contract or reject all bids.

Bids having been received for the pavement of Huey Street from Lincoln
Way West to Elwo.dd Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.226.0, the Board, this 2nd,,
day of October I929, hereby makes a preliminary order for sheet asphalt heatry traffic
as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and sets the Nth.,
day of October I929, as the time when said Board shall either pass on petitions for
a change in the type of pavement other than that specified in the preliminary order,
award the contract or reject all bids.
Bids Y;aving been received for the pavement of the alley east of High
Strut from Milton street to Calvert Street under Improvement Resolution No.2290, the
Board this- 2nd. , day of October 1929, hereby awards the contract for said improvement
to H.. N. Barnes at his low bid of $466.57 for concrete light traffic pavement.
Bids having been received for the pavement of the alley sottiih of Milton i
Street from' High Street to Dale Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2289, the Board
this 2nd. , day of October I929, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to
Hoban & Roach at their low bid of �.I,650.80 for concrete light traffic pavement.
Bids having been regeived for the grading of the alley south of Victoria
Street from alley east of Miami treet to Clyde Street under Improvement Resolution
No.2288, the Board this 2nd., day of October 1929, hereby, awards the contract for
said improvement to Whitcomb & Keller at their low bid of 735.60.
The Board signed the contract..frith the Colpaert Realty Compar .. for the
pavement of the alley west of Edison Jtreef-from Ford Street to Huron Street under
Improvement ResolutioA No.230I in the amount of �2,08I.25. The Board also approved
the construction bond of same for 100% of the contract price signed by the Yetropoli
tan Casualty Insurance Company.
City Engineer, T.T. G. Wray, submitted the Final Estimate for the heavy
traffic sheet asphalt pavement improvement on Elmer Street from Lincoln Way West to
Elwood Avenue, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and the
Williston Construction Company under Improvement Resolution No. 2230. The Board signed
and approved same in the amount of $23,355.03.
The Board approved the reapportionment of improvements assessments as r

submitted by City Engineer, H. G. r1ray, in assessment roll form and said re -apportion
meat of assessments is hereby ordered delivered to the Department of Finance.
The Board approved a claim in the amount of $136.82 for interest due
property owners on 22nd. , Street for the opening of said str =et under condemnation
resolution No.2038, which represents interest for a period of nine months on the
unpaid balances due January 3rd., 1929. The Board hereby orders said claim delivered I
to the Department of Finance and payment be made to property owners as soon as possibl"

shall be entitled to the deed hereinafter provided for.
