City Engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted the tabulation 'of bids
for the repairs of Riverside Drive and Bartlett�treet sewer outlet as follows;

Bids having been received for the repairs of the Riverside and
Bartlett Street sewer outlet, ..the Board this Ist. , day of October 192.9, hereby awards
the contract for said improvement to John F. Hipskind at his low bid of I,I35.00.
The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Northern Indiana
Construction Company for the local sewer on Johnson 6treet under Improvement Resolution
No.2240 in the amount of $26I.08 signed by the Great American Indemnity Co.
The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction:
Company for the pavement on Bendix Drive under Improvement Resolution 2to.2271 in the

amount of $I,356.3I signed by Inland Bonding Company.
The Board signed the contract sith R. N. Barnes for the curb
and walk improvement on Tasher Avenue from the west curb line of Michigan Street to
east line of Fain Street under Improvement Resolution No.2303. The Board also a-r,provedi.
the construction bond of same for I00% of the contract price signed by Standard Surety
Casualty Company.
The Board signed the contract T,;I th Mston Ball for the grading
of the alley south of Donald street from Robinson atreet to Sampson Street under Impro
vement Resolution No.2280 in the amount of $456.00. The Board also approved the con-
stnuction bond of same for I00% of the contract price signed, by Inployers Liabiltty
Assurance Corporation.
The Board signed the contract .with Williston Construction Co.,
for sewer and grading of Falcon, Kenmore and Wellington Streets and other streets in
Westchester Addition under Improvement Resolution No.2305 in the amount of 54,2I9.65.
The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50% of the contract price
signed by Inland Bonding Co.
This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the
corrected assessment roll for the grade, curb and walk improvement on Grant Street
from Washington Avenue to rserry Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2250.

In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared
and th.e Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and
parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on said corrected assessment
roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said roll and declares
same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The
Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the department of Finance.
City Engineer, 11. G. `Dray, submitted Partial estimate No.2
for the heavy traffic sheet asr,.halt pavement on Fox Street from Leer Street to. Sampson ;!
Street to accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and the Rieth-
Miley Construction Company, contractors under Improvement Resolution. No. 2224. The
Board signed and approved sar^e in the amount of §10.685.52.
This being the date set, hearing was had on Vacation Resol-a.t on!
No.2.296 for the vacation of Brookfield street from the south line of Washington Street
f to a. point 198 feet south of south line of Washington Street. (See files for copy o

In the above named vacation resolution. No.2296, no remonstrators appeared and
no remonstrance was filed and the Board therefore r,.ecides to take final action on said
vacation resolution and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners and holders
of property and of valuable interestts therein sought to be taken which list or roll
shall also describe the rroperty beneficially affected by such vacation.
This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the pavement
