Vichigan Street to ITai n Street under Improvement Resolution 74o. 2I77 the Board, hereby
Borders that sealed proposals for - said improvement will be received, opened and read on
'`the 10th., day of September 1929, up to I0:00 A M. The Board further orders that
no ices of said proposals shall be published on the 30th., day of August and on the
j6th. , '.day of Septer;ber 1929, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune _according to
law.

Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. IT. All members present.
The Board signed the contract with Williston Construction Company for the .86Wer
and pavement improvement on Nancy and other streets under Improvement Resolution No.
2286 in the amount of $87,I5I.56. The Board also approved the construction bond of same
for 50% of the contract price signed by Inland Bonding Company.
The Board signed the contract with Williston Construction Commny for the sewer
and pavement improvement on Westmoor Street under Improvement Resolution No.2287 in the
amount of $78,960.25. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50% of
;the contract price signed by Inland Bonding Company.
City Engineer, H. G. s`1ray, filed the tabulation of bids for the pavement of the
1Ist., alley north of Colfax Avenue from Esther Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Improve
anent Resolution No.2258 as follows:

pavement of the Ist. , alley �iorth of Colfax Avenu
from Esther Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2258, the Board
'this 28th., day of August 1929, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to H. N.
Barnes at his loser bid of $I,385.00 for concrete pavement light traffic.
City 71gineer, H. G. :dray, submitted the Final Estimate for the heavy traffic
concrete pavement on Sample Street from west line of Olive Street to west line of N. J.
T. & R. R. in accordance with the terms of the contractbetween the City and The Albert
Construction Company, contractors under Improvement Resolution No.2I44. The Board signed
and approved same in the amount of $7,57I.28.
• City Engineer, H. G. "dray, submitted Partial est ima}e No..I for the pavement of the
alley south of Division Street from Scott Street to Chapin Street, in accordance with the
terms of the contract between the City and H. N. Barnes Contractor, under Improvement
Resoltion No.2257.. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of $I,442.62.
The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Company --for the
pavement resurface on fan Buren Street from Cushing Street to Portage Avenue under
Improvement Resolution No.2I75 in the amount of $I84.96 signed by Inland Bonding Company.

point I01 east of the west line of hot 150 in Repla.t of Park Place. -and., Addition
under Improvement Resolution No.I790.
Assessment roll for t'-ie pipe sewer in Olive Street from 7,lwood Avenue to

In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared and
no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises
finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement
have been benefited in the amounts named on said primary assessment rolls. The Board,
therefore, decides to ta'ce final action on said assessment rolls and declares same in
all things ratifiend, confirmed and approved ,iithout modification and the proceedings
closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of
Firianc e.

In all of the above named assessment rolls, remonstra-ors appeared but no
written _remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,
finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts
named on said rolls. The Board, therefore, decides to tare final action on said assess
meat rolls a4d declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the
proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the
Department of Finance.
This being the date set, continued hearing was had on Improvement Resolution
N0.2274 for the pavement of -endall Street from Calvert Street to ' ving Avenue. ( See
files for copy of resolution. )
In the above name- improvement rasolation, remonstrators appeared but no �
written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being f-ally advised in the premises,III
finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the II
CitTT igineer. Therefore, the Board decides to take final action on said improvement
resolution and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without
modification.

In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby, orders that on the

land have been or will be benefited in the amounts shpwn on said primary assessment
roll or in a .-reater or less sum than that shown on said roll. The Board further order;

Tn both of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby, orders Ij

In all of the above named vacation resolutions, the Board, hereby
