City IIigineer, H. G. :*Fray, filed plans, specifications and estimates and the
Board adopted said plans and specifications together with a resolution for the construct
ion of a sub -trunk Sewer in Eckman Street under Improvement Resolution No.2279. (See
files for copy of resolution.)
In the above named improvement resolution No.2279, property owners waived all
objections on and in defense to any defect in said proceedings and to any violation in
prodedure for the construction of street improvements as progided for by law. !hereupon
the Board, received, opened and read the following proposals for the construction of
said Ee'�man Street sub -trunk sewer under Improvement Resolution No.22794 Bids are as
follows:

August I929, Akards the contract for said improvement to Rocco Simeri at his low bid
of 10,328.50 for concrete pipe.
City Engineer, R. G. Wray, filed the tabulations of bids for the pavement
of the alley south of Division Street from Scott Street to Chapin Street under Impro-
vement Resolution No.2257:

Bids having been received for the pavement of the alley south of Division
Street from Scott Street to Chapin Street under Improvement Resolution No.2257 the
Board this 7th., day of August, I929, hereby awards the contract for said improvement
to H. N. Barnes at his low bid of $1,697.20 f^r concrete pavement light traffic.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the pavement of Olive Street from th
the north curb line of Lincoln Nay `Test to Elwood Avenue under Improvement Resolution
No.2266.
In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared and a
written _remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,
dbnldeb` to rescind all former action taken on said improvement resolution and declares
same null and void and the proceedings closed.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution for the pavement
of Swygart Street from 2nd., alley north of Indiana Avenue to concrete pavement on
Prairie Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2267.
In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared but no
written remonstrance was filed and the Board, after hearing all persons interested in
said resolution, decides to rescind all former action taken on said improvement resod-
;� ution and declares same null and void and the proceedings closed.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution for the pavement
of Marine Street from New York Central Railroad right of way to Indiana Avenue under
improvement Resolution No.2269.
In the above named improvement resolution No.2269, the Board finds that
there are no water mains between the alley north of Indiana and the Railroad and
i� th refore, the Board decides to continue hearing on said resolution until August 2lst.
