Board met in regular session at 9-Ai 'I% All members present.' 1,iinutes of
I meetings held July 9th. , and July IOth. , 1929, real and approved.
The Board signed the contract with Rieth Riley Construction Company for the
l pavement on Fox Street from Leer Street to -Sampson Street under Improvement Resolution
No.2224 in the amount of 29,566.60. The Board also approved the construction bond of
same in the amount of 50% of the contract price signed by Southern Surety Company.
The Board approved the Guarantee bond of Edward Di Julio Co- , for the local
sew^r-in Olive Street from Lincoln Nay `pest to Elwood Avenue under Improvement. Resolution
•' No.2I43 in the amount of 402.60 which is IX- of the contract price signed by Standard
Accident Insurance Co.

The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of Northern Indiana Const.,'Go., for
the local sewer in Greenlawn. Avenue under Improvement Resolution No,2200 in the amount
of 367.84 signed by Great American Indemnity company.
The Board approved the guarantee bond of the Northern Indiana Const.,, Co.,
for the local sewer in ierwinski 6treet under Improvement Resolution No.22T9 in the
amount of 98.74 signed by Great American Indmnityy Company.
This being the date set, continued 'iea ring lwas had on the assessment roll
for the local sewer in Greenlawn Avenue from x. T. ",. R. R. to Chester Street under
improvement' Resolution No.2200. In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators
ij appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in
the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in
the amounts named on said assessment roil. The Board, therefore, takes final action
on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and appubved
:`.without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment
roll delivered to the ')epartment of Finance.
The Board approved the continua ion certificate for the excavation bond in
favor of H. G. Christman Co., signed by United tat es Fidelity and . Guaranty
This being the date set:; continued hearing vsa.s had on the assessment roll
for the vacation of a part of 22nd. , "treet from Jefferson Blvd. ; to Sunnymede Avenue
under Tacation esolution No.2217.
In the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue hearing
on same until July 23rd. , 1929, at I0:00 A. ?'.

In all of the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby orders
that on the 24t j. , day of July I929, this Board .till meet in their office in the City
Hall at 7-I5 P.`' 11F.31 to hear .and receive remonstrances from all. persons whose property
has been assessed f_,r said improvements and vrill decide whether the several lots and
rarcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said Tn?imary
assessment rolls or in a greater or less sum than that named on said rolls. The Board
further orders that notices of said hearings shallbe published on the I9th.., day of
July and, on the 20th. , day of July 1929, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune accord`
ing to law.

The annexed Plat is to be 'cno,;m as 'Jhitcomb and Tellers Sub -Division
of Lot I2 and that part of Lot II in Tuntsman and Yeyers Addition lying north of the
north line of Longley Average produced east.
The plat contains thirty-six (36) lots numbered from I to 36 inclusive:::
The widths of the streets and alleys and the dimensions rf the lots are marked on the
Plat in f eet and fract ions thereof.
The streets and alleys are hereby dedicated to the public for public use,
The alley corners of Lots I,6,9,I0,I3,I8,I9,24,27,30,3I and 36 have a
cut off of five (5) feet measured each way along the alley from the roint of intersection
of the alleys.
Olive 6treet has been widened fifteen (I5) feet on the east side, making
its total present width sixty five (65) feet.

Edward Pfieffer and David Gibson, appraisors in connection with the opening
and extension of Linden Avenue and Bendix Drive under Condemnation Resolution No.2243,
filed the primary assessment roll showing the awards of damages and assessments of
benefits under said condemnation resolution No.2243.
In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the 3rast,
day of July .t�9Vaid Board will meet in their offi5e at 7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive
remonstrances from all persons whose property has been affected by said condemnation
and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land have been or will be
benefited or damaged in the amounts named on said roll. The Board further orders that
notices of said awards of damages and assessments of benefits be delivered according
to law.
