LaSalle Avenue from Taylor Street to Scott Street under Improvement Resolution No.22371,
I, the Board this 2nd., day of July 1929, hereby makes a preliminary order for concrete
�i pavement light traffic as the type of pavement with which said alley shall be improved
and sets the I6th., day of July. 1929, as the time when said Board shall eith pass on
petitions for a change in the type of pavement other than that specified in the prelim-
inary order, award the contract or reject all bids.
Bids havin been received for the pavement of the alley east of
Lincoln Way East from lonroe �treet to march Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2236,,
the Board this 2nd., day of July I929, hereby makes a preliminary order for concrete
pavement light traffic as the type of pavement with which said alley shall be improved
and sets the Nth., dray of July I9290, as the time when said Board shall either Tugs on

The Board signed the contract with Williston Const. , Co. for the
pavement on fain Street from Fairview Avenue to the, alley south of' Woodside Street under i
Improvement Resolution No.2226 in the amount of 3%60I.75. The Board also approved the
construction bond of same in the amount of 50% of the contract price signed by Inland
Bonding Company.
The Board signed the contract with Williston Construction Company for
the pavement on Meade Street from Lincoln Way y4est to Elwood Avenue under Improvement
Resolution No.2227 in the amount of I8,256.77. The Board also approved the construction'
bond of same in the amount of 50 0 of the contract price signed by Inland Bonding Co.
The Board signed the contract with H. N. Barnes for the pavement
of the alley south of Monroe Street from Carroll Street to the first alley west of Carroll
Street under Improvement Resolution No.2249 in the amount of 559.00. The Board also
approved the construction bond of same in the amount of I00% of the contract price.
The Board signed the contract with H. N. Barnes for the grade, curb
and walk improvement on Campeau Street from the east line of Park Place to Harriett
Street under Improvement Resolution No.2233 in the amount of 2,759.69. The Board also
approved the construction bond of same for I00% of the.eontract price.
The Board approved the Guarantee bond of the Williston Const. C0
for the pavement improvement on Poland Street from Harris Street to 3. Y. G,. R. R. under
Improvement resolution No�2I89 in the amount of 440.8I, signed by Inland Bonding Co.

and -pavement improvement in Lincoln Terrace Iddition under Improvement Resoluti.on
No.2102.
In the above named assess,nent roll the Board hereby orders that on the 24th-
day of July 1929 this 3oa-.d will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-15 P.T.T.
to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whoseproperty has been assessed
for said improvement and will decide whether' the several -lots and parcels of land have
been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said primary . roll. The Board further
orders that notice of said hearing shall be published in the South Bend News Times and
Tribune on the IM. , day of July 1929 according to law.
