Minutes of meetings held January I5th., and. January I6th., 1929 This being the date set, continued hearing was had on Im-prove- vent -resolution N6.2I64 for the pavement of O'Brien Street from south line of Prast Street to south line of Werwins`':i Court. In the above named improvement resolution No.2164, remonstrators • appeared and after hearing all property interested in said improvement and being fully advised in the premises, the Board decides to rescind all former action action taken on said improvement .resolution and declares same null and void and the proceed- ings closed. • I—] 0 • • The Board signed the contract with Rocco Simeri for the sewer and water connections improvement on Tiarftiett Street, Lots No.588,641, 676, and 677 in Sunnymede Third Addition and Lots No.794, 795, 796, and 797 in Sunnymede Fourth Addition under Improvement Resolution No.2I74, in the amount of 744.40. City Engineer, N. r. `dray, submitted the following report: "'kith return of attached remonstrance against the improvement of Tongley Avenue from ffilber Street to Johnson Street under Improvement Resolution No. 2I7I, I submit the following report: "There are 48 resident property owners residing on this proposed improvement, I6 of whom have signed the remonstrance. This does not constitute a majority and T would therefore recommend that bids be advertised for this improve- ; ment. Very truly, Ti. ,T. wrw, City Civil Engineer." The Board approved the above report sustaining all former action taken on said improvement resolution No.2I7I for the ravement of Longley Avenue. Vo petitions ha -ring been filed for a change in the type of pave ment other than that specified in the rreliminary order for the pavement of T...?iner Street from east line of Yadison Park Addition to Harriett Street under Improvement Resolution No.2I63, the Board this 82nd. , day of January 1929, hereby, makes a final order for sheet asphalt heavy traffic navement as the type of pavement with which said. street shall be improved and awards the contract for said imrrovement to The Albert Construction Company at their low bid of .6,745.94. No petitions having been filed for a change in the type of pave- ment other 'than that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement of Catalpa Avenue frpm the south line of S.14. S. B. and S. R. R. right of way to Cotter Street under Imnrovement Resolution 11o.2I6I, the Board this 22nd., day of January 1929, hereby makes a final order for asphaltic concrete pavement heavy traffic as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and awards the contract for said improvement to Albert Construction Company at their low bid of $6, 734. 5.
