This being the date set, continued he -:,.ring was had on Improvement Resolution No.2I68 for the rave-ent of V'anBuren Street from portage Avenue to Lawndal.e Avenue. j In the above named improveent resolution, after hearing all persons interested in same and being fully advised in the premises, the Hoard decides I to modify said improvement resolution to read 'from the west line of Cushing Street to Lawndale Avenue", this eliminating the bl©ak from Portage Avenue to Cushingtree. �Vlth this modification, the Board finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of: land liable to be assessed for zaid improvement will be equal to the J estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore, ta'.es final action on said improveme-. t .p,,esolution and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as modified. The Board now orders that on the 29th., day of January 1929, this Board will receive, ppen and read sealed proposals for the construction of pavement on Vanburen Street under Improvement Resolution No.2I68 up to I0:00 A. Y. The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on the 28th., day of January and on the 25th. , day of January 1929 in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. This being the date set, continued hearing wa-e had on Improvement Resolution No.2I64 for the pavement of O'Brien Street from south line of prast Street to south curb line of Werwinski Court. r In.the above named improvement resolution, the Board decides to continue hearing on same until Tuesday morning January 22nd., 1929 at I0:00 A. T,% City Engineer, filed. rlans, specifications and estimate .and the l Board adopted said -plans and slbpeifications together with Im rovement Besolution' No.2I75 for the resurfacing of Va�hBuren Street from Portage Avenue to Cushing Street. In the above named improvement resolution, lution, the Board hereby orders that on the I2th. , day of February I929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at ,I0:00 A. I-., to hear and -,eceive . remonstrances from all rersons whose property is liable to be assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said imnro j vement will be equal to the estimated thereof. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published in the South Bend News Ti,es and Tribune on the I8th. , day of January and on the 25th. , day of January 1929 according to law. i This being the d ite set, hearing was had on the following !j assessment rolls: II Assessment roll for the sewer improvement on O'Brien Street and ilerwinski Court under Improvement Resolution No.2I46. j Assessment roll for the pavement of Sunnymede Avenue from south curb line of Longfellow Avenue to the north curb line of 'Tall Street under Improvement ,I Resolution No.2II6. II In both of the above named assessment rolls, no remonst-:nators • appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being Bally advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land rrimarily assessed for i said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said assessment Molls. I� The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment rolls and declares same ! in all things ratified, confirmed and approv-ed without modification .and the proceed- ings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the department of Finance. This being the da'�e set, hearing rr-s had on the assessment roll for the "Taeation of the alley east of 'dale Avenue;d sp. alley west of 'iamni Street '.'also the alley south of Dabail Avenue under Vacation Resolution Yo.2I65. . In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the ,3oard therefore decides to ta:.e final action i on said assessment roll and declares sa-e in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed. Cit%, Engineer filed plans, specifications and estimate and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with Im-ovement Resolution 70.2174 for .the construction of water and server connections on the following named i lets on Harriett Street: Lots 588,64I, 676 & 677 in Sunnymede 3rd., Addition and �I Lots 7949 79511 796 and 797 in Sunnymede 4th., Addition. The Board arnroved the driveway for the Indiana ab Oomrany at 543. amd 545 Lincoli2 _fray Fast as recom-ended by Assistant engineer, R. T.. Pilce. This being the date set, hearing was had on the assess,-ent! roll for .the pavement, roadt;ray widening and resurfacing on Yiami Street from Tincoln i Way Fast to Twing Avenue, except portion from alley south of Lincoln ',lay :mast to South line of Penn. Avenue rroduced.-under Improvement Resolution 11o.206c� In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared; and written remonstrances were filed by the attorneys for 'Rosehill Cemetery Association and The 'Bowman Cemetery Association. After hearing all rersons interested in sadd assessment roil and being fully advised in the premises, the -Board finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said primary assessment roll. The -Board, therefore,; decides to take final action on said assessment roll hnd declares same in all things ratified confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed.
