Bids having been received for the sewer in Southwood Avenue under improvement
Resolution Noe'2142, the Board this 20th., day of November I928, hereby awards the
contract for said improvement to Rocco Simeri at his low bid of 3,116.30.
Bids having been received for the sewer in Elmwood Avenue under Improvement
Resolution No.2I551 the Board this 20th., day of November 1928, hereby awards the

This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.E154
for a local sewer in Bendix Drive from Washington Avenue to . Ist. , all ey ,norzth of
:;Division street;, also on Jefferson Street from Bendix Drive to Liberty street. (gee

In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared and
no written remonstrance. 'was filed and the Doard; being fully advised in the premises,
finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
..for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the
City Engineer, and that the improvement is necessary. The Board, therefore, decides
to take, final action on said improvement resolution and declares same in all things
.ratified, confirmed and approved without modification.
The Board now orders that on the .:I1V'49 day of December, 1928, the .Boa.rd will
,receive, open and consider sealed proposals for the construction of said sewer up to
I0:00 A. IT. The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published
on the 30. , . day of November and on the Y.it. , day of Peoember T928, in the South
Bend News Times and Tribune according to law.
The Board arnroved the Guararite'e bond of the Nortaern Indiana Construction
Company for the sewer in Brookfield Street under Improvement-aesolut ion No.2I20.
',in the amount of 456.66 signed by 1�aryland Casualty Co.
The Board approved the Guarantee bond of Rieth Riley Construction Company
for the pavement on Jefferson Street from "alnut Street to Cherry Street under Improve
ment Resolution No.204I, in the amount of 527.60 signed by the Southern Surety Co.
The Board approved the Guarantee bond of Indiana Corr.truction Company
for the sewer in Liberty Street from division street to Sample Street under Improvement
Resolution No.2I22, in the amount of 589.60 signed by the Maryland Casualty "o.
The Board approved the Guarantee bond. of J. J. Dunnegan for the sub -trunk
sewer on Sheridan Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2074, in the amount of
3,426.80 signed by Inland Bonding Company.
Upon the recommendation of '11m. F. ,,ualls; the Board approved the installation
of a 4000 lumen light at Indiana and Virgindd 6treets.
City °Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed the primary assessment roll for the construct
ion of grade, curb and walk on the south side of florin Street from point 131.37 feet
west of Iiadison Park Addition to E. P. L. Madison Park under Improvement Resolution
No.2136.
In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the
27th., day of November 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall
at 10:00 A. 1%, to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has
been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels
of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said assessment roll,
or in a --reater or less sum than that named og said roll. The Board farther orders
that notices of said hearing shall be published on the 23rd. , day of November and on
the 24th., day of November 1928, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according
to law.

In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby orders
that on the 5th., day.of December 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the
City Mall at 7-I5 P. V., to hear and receive remonstrances from all .persons whose
I property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several
iI lots and parcels of land -primarily assessed have been benefited in the amount named
on said assessment roll or in a greater or less sum than that named on said roll. L
The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the
