This being the date set, continued hearing was bad on Va ation Resolution
No,215r for the Vacation of c ertaln alleys in Summit Place 3rd., Adition and 4th.,
Addition. (See files for copy of resolution.
In the above named vacation resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no
written remonstrance was filed and the Board, therefore, .decides to take final action
on said Vacation Resolution No.215I and declares said resolution in'all things
ratified', confirmed and approved and the alleys vacated.
The Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of all owners and
holders of property and of valuable interebs therein sought to be taken or to be
affected by such vacation, which list or roll shall also,deseribe the property
beneficially affectedo
This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the
local sewer in Elmwood Avenue from Southwood to Greenlawn Avenue under Improvement
Resolution N,l.2I55. Bids are as follows:

This being the date set, bids were received, opened and read for the local
sewer improvement in Southwood Avenue from Harriett Street to Greenlawn Avenue
under Improvement Resolution No.2142. Bids are as follows:

City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed the following primary assessment rolls:
Assessment roll for the pavement on Kinyon Street from east line of Portage
Avenue to the east line of Lot 181 Northwest Addition under Improvement Resolution
No. 2I03.
Assessment roll for the pavement on the west one-half of Logan Street
from 1'-ishawaka Avenue to the north end of Aiver Midge under Improvement Resolution
No.2I00.
In both of the above named assessment rolls, the Board, hereby orders that
on the 21st. , day of November I928, this Board will meet in their office in the City
Hall at 7-I5 P. I.T., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
has been assessed for said improvements -and will decide whether the several lots
and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said
primary assessment rolls or in a greater or less sum than that named on said rolls.
The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the
I6th., Day of November and on the I?th.,.day of November 1928, in the South Bend
News Times and Tribune .according to law.
The Board signed the contract with C. F. Reesh for the construction of the
local sewer in Brookfield Street from Elwood Avenye to Bulla Street under Improvement
Resolution No.2I57, in the amount of I;593.45. The Board also a-pproved the construct
ion bond of same for 100% of the contract Tice signed by the United States Guarantee
Com?nany of New York.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the sewer
I# Huey Street from alley south of Frederickson Street to Elwood Avenue under Improve
ment Resolution No,2090.
In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written
remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds
that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown
on said roll. The. Board therefore, takes final .action on said assessment roll and
declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modofication and
the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment roil delivered to the
Department of Finance.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the
sewer in Elwood Avenue from Fedora Street to Huey Street under Improvement Resolution
No.2084.
In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written

said ,assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved
without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment
roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimates
and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with the following improve-
ment Resolutions:

Improvement Resolution No.2159 for the 'pavement of Colfax Avenue from-

In all :of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby
orders that on the 9thl, day of January 1929, this Board vtll meet in their office in
the City Hall at 7-15 P. to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose
property is liable to be assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the
benefits to the several lots and. -parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improve.16
