This being the date set, hearings were had on the following primary assessment rolls Assessment roll for Vie pavement on O'Brien Street from Lincoln Way 4est to Elwood Avenue under Improvement 'Resolution N6.2035. " Issessment roll for the pavement on Thirtieth: Street from Mishawaka Avenue to North Side Blvd., under Improvement Aesolution No.20I3. assessment roll for the pavement on Ewing Avenue from West line Leer Street to west line of Ernesperger Street render ,Improvement Resolution No.20I6. Assessment roll for the pavement on Adams Street . from Lincoln Way West to - north line of Humboldt Street under Improvement Resolution No.2027. In all of the above named assessment rolls, remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrande was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts named on said primary assessment rolls. The Board therefore takes final action on said primary assessment rollsand declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved the and proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department of Finance. - City Engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted partial estimate No.4 for the heavy traffic concrete pavement imovement on Sample `'treet from pA point 308 feet west of the Belleville First west line of Unit to the west line of Belleville Third Unit, in ac-cordance the with terms of the contract between the W. J. Nees Construction o. , and the City, under Improvement Resolution No.2020. The Board signed and jkp7 oved same in the amount of 8,953.05. • • City Engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted partial estimate No.3 for the light traffi concrete pavement and sewer improvement on streets in Summit Place Fifth Addition, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and Harry N. Barnes, Con- tractor, under Improvement Resolution No. 2078. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 16,473.00. City Engineer, H. G. stray, filed the final estimate on the Improvement No.2074 'mown as the Sheridan Avenue Sub -Trunk Sewer as follows, by the Board: which was approved To the Hon. Assessment roll for the pavement on Kendall Street from alley north of Orchard Street to Dunham Street under Improvement Resolution No.2042. Assessment roil for the pavement of the south of �iestmoor Street from the 1 west line of Olive Street to the east line of Lincoln 1 anor 3rd. , Addition under Improvement Resolution N0.2094. ednesday, September 26th. , 1928. In all of the above named assessment rolls,, the Board hereby orders that on the 3rd., day of October 1928, this Board. will -4eet in the&r office in the City Hall at 7-15 P. M., to hear and receive, remonstrances From all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement and,will decide whether the several lots and .parcels of land primarily assessed for said ' improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said rolls. The Board further.orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the 28th. , day of September. and on the 29th. day of October 1928, . 3:n the South Bend :News Times and Tribune according to law. City Engineer, filed plans, specifications and estimates and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with the following Improvement Resolutions; Improvement Resolution No.2144 for the pavement improvement on Sample Street from west line of Olive Street to west property line of the N. J. I. -& 1. R. R. (See files for copy of resolution.) Improvement Resolution N0.2245 for the pavement immovenent on 35th. , Street from Grand Trunk Western Railroad to north lines of lots II2 0 and 94 in Belmont Addition. (See files for copy of resolution.) Improvement Resolution No.2146 for the local sewer improvement - in O'Brien strut from Werwinski Court to the. first alley north of Werwinski Court;_ also Werwinski ourt from Johnson street to O'Brien Street. (See files for copy of res oluti ch.) Improvement Resolution No.2I43 for the local sewer improvement in Olive Street from Lincoln Play Test to Elwood Avenue. (See files for copy of res oluti on.) Improvement Resolution No. 2I42 for the local sewer improvement in Southwood Avenue from Harriett Street to Greenlawn Avenue. . (See files for copy of.., resolution.) In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the_ Board hereby orders that on the 24th. , day of October I928 , this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. Y., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is liable to be assessed for said improvements -..rand will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated" costs of same as' reported by the City Engineer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shallbe ublished on the 5th., day of October and on the I2th. , day of October 1928, in, the outh Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. Claims amounting to 2I,628.57 signed and approved by .the Board. The Board approved the claim of Williston Construction company for Estimate No. I for the- work compl -:t ed under Contract in .accordance with Resolution No.2IO7 and No.213I. in the amount of 15,640.00 and hereby orders City Controller to pay same out of Track Elevation Fund. City �igineer, H. G. Wray, filed primary assessment roll for the j pavement improvement of all streets in Lincoln Manor, Dales Lincoln Highway Addition and Lots 31, 32, 33, 34 in Kaley's Second Lincoln Highway ddi tion under Improvement Resolution No.2092. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that on the I6th. , day of October, 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 10:00 A. IT., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said roll. The Board further orders that notice of, said hearing on assessment roll shall be published on the 29th. , day of September 1928, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law.
