Board met in regular session at 7-I5 P. TT. All members present.
This bein the date set, hearing eras had on the assessment roll
ii for the ecns-o-ruction of the ample Street setxaer from Kenmore Street to the center line
of Lot 29I, 3rd. , Plat .of summit Place under, Improvement Resolution No.I997.
In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and
no "'ritten remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,
finds that the several lots and parcels of land primarily assessed for said improve-
ment have been benefited in the amounts named on said roll. The Board, therefore,
ta'ce s final action on said assessment roll and delcares same in all things ratified,
confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assess-
ment roll delivered to the Department of Finance.
This being the date set, hearing was had on the Set Bacc Line Resole
tion for Set back- lines on Sample Street under Resolution Io.M&
In the above named resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no
written remonstrance was filed and the Board, therefore, decides to ta-ce final action
on said resolution and declares same in all things rafified, confirmed and approved.
The Board now orders that a list or roll be preTa red of all owners
and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sought to be taken or to
be affected, which list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially affected
by said proceedings. 1
l'he Board signed the contract with 71illiston C"onstruetion Co., for
the construction of pavement on the north one half of Ford. Street from the east line
of Lase Street to the west line of Iowa Street under Improvement Resolution Yo 2093.
The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50% of the contract price s
signed by the Inland Bonding Co.
The Board sign=d the contract with 'Jilliston Construction Co., for
the constructi^n of r,.avement on the east one half of Lake Street from the south line
of Division treat to the TTorth line of Ford Street under Improvement Resolution
Ho.2095. The Board approved the construction bond of same signest by the Inland
Bonding Co.
The Board signed the contract t.�!ith '•dilliston Construction Company
for the ravemeht of the west one half of Logan Street from vishawa'ca. Avenue to the
north end of the St. Joseph River Bridge under Improvement Resolution Ivo.2I00. The
Board also ao moved the construction bond of same in the amount of 50 0 of the contract
-price signed by Inland Bonding Co.
the 3oard approved the Tuarantee Bond of t'_le 'Jilliston. Construction '
Compnay for the se-: er and rave?_ent improvement in loodlawn Second Addition under
Improvement -Resolution o.I986 in the amount of 8,079.I0, Which is T, D4 of the amount
due the contractor for this improvemea-it. Said Bond signed by Inland Bonding Co.
The 3oard approved the construction of a driveway at 3024 TTishawaka
Avenue o:,rnedl by Tr. A. Pershing.
The Board approved the driveway at I022 'Harriett Street.

In the above na -.ed assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that
on the 4th. , day- of Sept ember I928, this Boar d wi 11 r e et in their o ff ice in the City
Hal 1 at SO:00 A. ''. , to hear and receive remonstrances from all rersons whose property
has b-en assessed for said improvement and will decid whether the several lots and
parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the ar punts na-,ed on said roll or
in a rnreater or less sum than that named on said roll.

In the above named assessment rolls, the Board hereby orders that
on the 5th., day of September 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City
Hall at 7-I5 P. I'.s to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
has been assessed for said improvements _and will dlec.id , e. whether the several lots and

parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said assessnent
rolls or in a ,7eater or less sum than that named on said rolls. The Board furhher
orders that notices of said hea-�sing shall be published in the South - Bend News Times an
Trib-une on the 31st., day of August and on the Ist. , day of September 1928, according t
law.

and estimates and the Board adopted said plans and specifications together with a resol
tion for the ?pavement of of Greenlawn xlvenye from the north line of Colfax Avenue to
south line of Sunnymede under Improvement Resolution No.2I34.
In the above narned improvement resolution, property owners
waived all objections on and in defense to any defect mn said proceedings and to any
violation in proceedure for the construction of street improvements as fixed by law.

.Avenue from the east line of darter Heights Addition to Leeper Avenue under Improvement
Resolution No.2I27, the Board this 29th. , day of Aug�ast, I928, hereby makes a preliminary
order for sheet as -halt pavement as the t.,rpe cE pavement with which said street shall
be improved and sets the IIth. J. day of -)eptember I928, as the time whan said Board shall
either pass on petitions for a change in the t;,rpe of pavement other than that specified
in the preliminary order, award the contr,.ct or reject all bids. +

The annexed plat of University Heights Addition to City
of South Bend, St. Josenh County, Indiana, is a subdivision of the following described
property:
Beginning on the east line of Harter Heights Addition produced
north to a point 45 ft., north of the north line of Section I township 37 North, Range
2 'East, thence East parallel with and 45 feet north of the north line of said section I,''
a distance of 709. 70 ft., to the west line of Cedar Grove cemetary, thence sx$Skkx south
