Mr. I.. S. Romig, City Attorney, and Mr. Charles W. Cole and William S. Moore, Engineers, also present. This" being the date set for hearing on the modified assessment roll of the Northwest trunk Sewer , System -under Improvement Resolution,: Nukbers I774, I774A and I774B and all remonstrances -filed against the same, the Board met in the Council Chamber of the City Mail of South Bend, Indiana, and opened hearing on said Roll and the,remonstrandes. The Engineer reported that be had not been able to make the corrections, deductions and compution and complete- the modified Roll as ordered by the Board at its meeting of August 9th. , I928. The Board then adjourned the .hearing to Thursday, August 23rd. , at 9 A. T., 1928, at the Council Chaipber in the City Halal. ATTESTED: C TUESDAY AUGUST 2lst.. , 1928. Board met in regular s ess ioh at 9 A. M. All members present. Minutes of meetings held August I4th. , August I5th. , and August I6th. , 1928 read and approved. City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimate and the Board adopted- said plans and specifications together with the following Improvement Resolution: STREET Cat ALLEY IXPROVM►MNT RESOLUTION NO.2I3I. "BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, ST. JOSE'PH COUNTY, that it is desired and deemed necessary to improve: Cherry Street from the end of the present concrete pavementto the New York Central Railroad, Walnut Street from north north rail of the north track of the New York Central Railroad to a point one hundred ninety five feet (1951) north of the center line of west bound main track of the New York Central Railroad. Walnut Street from south line of Division Street to north line of alley south of Division Street, Division Street from a point two hundred seventy-eight feet (2781) west of the center line of west bound main track of New York Central Railroad to a point two hundred ninety-eight feet (298') east of the center line of west bound main track of Ne)N Yorlc Central Railroad.
