' Minutes of meetings held 'iugast 7th.' lu gust 8th. , and august 9th. , 1928, read and approved. This 'being the date set, hearing -was had on Improvement -Resolution No.227 ,.for the pavement of Angella avenue from Fast line of Harter Heights Iddition to Leeper Avenue. In the above named improvement resolution No.2127, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be -assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Civil 4hgineer. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said resolution No.2I27, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification. The Board now orders that on the 28th., day of August I928, this. Board will receive, open and consider sealed proposals for the construction of said__ improvement up to I0:00 A. Y. The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on the I7th. , day of August and on the 24th. , day of August I928, In the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. City Engineer filed tabulation of bids for the pavement of the West one half of Logan Street from Mishawaka Avenue to the north end of the St. Joseph River Bridge under Improvement Resolution No.2I00: Reed & Sons C. Concrete no bid no bid no bid II, 577.85 II, 095.95 'I Bids having been received fbr the pavement of the west one half of Logan Street from Mishawaka Avenue to the north end of the St. Joseph River Bridge under Improvement Resolution No.2I00, the Board this I4th. , day of August, 1928, hereby maes a preliminary order for concrete pavement Ught traffic as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and sets the 28th. , day of August 1928, as the time when said Board shall either pass on petitions for a change in the type of pavement other than that specified in the preliminary order, award the eontrae or reject all bids.
