The Board signed the contract with V illiston Construction Company for the resurfacing of North Shore give from a point 150 feet west of the west line of Lafayette treet to the west line of Irquois _Street under Improvement Resolution No.2076 in the amount of 8,625.50. The Board also approved the construction bond for 50% of the contract price signed by Inland Bonding Co. The Board .signed the eontratt with Albert Construction ('ompany for the avement of Chapin Street from Calvert Street to L`wing Avenue under. Improvement esolu.tion No.2079 in the amount of 14,227.2I. . The Board also approved the construct ion bond of same in the ,amount of 50% of the, contract price signed by Inland. Bonding Comparxy. The Board signed the contract with Albert Construction "omnany for the pavement impK- rovement on endall Street from the alley north of Orchard Street to Dgnham Street under Improvement resolution No.2042 in the amount of 2,6I2.85. The Board also approved the construction bond of same signed by Inland Bonding Company for 50% of . the contract price. The Board signed the contract with Reith Riley Construction Company for the pavement on Madison Street from Palmer Boulevard to Harriett Street under Improvement resolution No.2083 in the ar:?ount of 8,203.80. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50% of the contract price signed by . Southern Surety Company. The Board signed -the contract with Reith Riley Construction Company for the ,-pavement. on Jefferson Street from .dalnut Street to Cherry Street under Improvement Resolutiono.204I in the amount of 5,284.40. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50% of the contract price signed. by Southern Surety Company. The' Board signed.-;ththeon-bnt et with Reith Riley Construction Company for the -oavernent on Harriett street from a point I27._2 ft so-1_th of the south line of 1"onroe Street to a Point 747.9 ft. , south of the south line of 1 on -roe Street under Improvement Resolution TU.2II9 in the amount of I5,507.70. The Board also approved the constrnetio bond of sa-:-e in -the a.-,ovnt of 50% of the contract price signed bj the Southern Surety Company. The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Northern Indiana Construction Co: ,any in the amount of. I,470.94 signed by the -employers Liability Assurance Corpora- tion. The Board approved the G-_�arantee bond of the "illiston Construction Company for the improvement on Cha-oin Street from >dashington Street to Yonroe Street under Improvement resolution 70.2011,in the amount of 5,6I6.9I. This being the date set, hearings were toad on the following improvement resolutions: Improvement resolution No.2II0 for the grade.; curb and walk improvement on Iowa Street from Jefferson Street to 'dashington Street. Improvement Resolution 17o.2III for the grade, curb and walk on Lake Street from Jefferson Street to Washington Street. Improvement Resolution No.2II2 for the grade, curb and vralk improvement on Parallel Otreet from Grant ''treet to Johnson Street. Improvement -resolution No,2II3 for th grade, curb and waUk: improvement on Sherrill Street from Chapin Street to Kendall Street. Improvement Resolution No.2114 for the grade, curb and vra? k improvement on. 36th. , Street from Jefferson Street to Marshall Street. Improvement Resolution No.2II5 fir the pavement of the Ist. , alley north of LaSalle Avenue from LaPorte Avenue to Cottage Grove Street. Improvement Resolution No.2II6 for the pavement of "'unnyside Avenue from the south curb line of Longfelloa Avenue to the north curb line of Tall Street except a por tion from a point 65 feet south of the south line of Longfellow Avenue to a point 53.5 feet north of the north line of 'dall Street. In all of the above named improvement resolutions, no remonstrattrs appeared and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premix finds that the benefits to the lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said imtr ovements will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City Civil Engineer. The Boa: d, therefore, decides to ta'_ke final action on said resolutions and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved as originally adopted. The Board now orders that on the 28th. , day of August, I92.8, this Board j; will receive, openg and consider sealed proposals for the construction of all of the above named imp_ rovements up to I0:00 A. TT. The Board further orders that notices of I; salad proposals shall be published on the Nth., day of August and on the 23rd. , day 111 of August, 1928, in the South Bend clews Times and �ribnne according to law. This being the date set, hea,r..ngs-,were had on the following improve- ment resolutions; Improvement resolution No.2II8 for the pavement of the Second Alley south of Lindsey street from Cushing Street to Scott Street. Improvement resolution No.2II7 for the pavement of the first alley north of Arrigella Avenue from Portage Avenue to `ioodward Avenue. In both of the ab"ove named improvement resolutions, remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed. After hearing all Oerwons interested in said improvement resolutions and being fully advised in the premises', the Board, decides to take final action on said resolutions Yo.2II8 and 2T17 and declares same null and void and all proceedings had on same rescinded and the proceedings closed. ment resolutions This being the date set, hearings were had on the following improve - Improvement Resolution Ho12I20 for the construction of a local sewer in Brookfield 'treet from Prairie Avenue to India Avenue. Improvement Resolution Ho.2I22 for the construction of a local sewer in Liberty °Street bitween Division Street and Sa-rj�ple Itreet. In both of the abovenamed improvement resolutions, no remonstrators a . pearen and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, fins that the benefits to the several lots and parceld of land liable to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City engineer, and that the special benefits accruing to said abutting property are eo_ual to the estimted costs of same. The Board deethres said resolutions ratified, confirmed and approved. --- The Board now orders that on the 28thl, day of August, 1928, this Board will receive, open and read sealed proposals for the construction of said local sewers up to I0:00 A. T.T. The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be -published on the I6th. , day of August and on the 23rd. , '?ay of August, 1928,. according. to law. In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds;! that the sp cial benefits accruing to said abutting property ark&l be equal to theci estimated cost of same as repoabted by the City Engineer and declares said resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed and after all persons interes�,-ed in samd, the Board decides to rescind all former action taken onsame and declares same null and void and the proceedings closed. This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll for the improvement on Chapin Street from Wash ington Avenue to 17onroe street under Improvement' Resolution No.20II. I In the above named improvement assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board after hearing all persons interes ed in said assessment roll,d3m Q9XxMJW-XM3=ZXZX finds that the several lots and panels of &knd primarily assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said primartlroll. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and r. approved and the proceedings closed. This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the assessment roll for the pavement in r`orris Par'_k Addition under Improvement Resolution No.I98I. In the abovenamed assessment roll remonstrators appeared but no written remonstrances were filed and the Board after hearing all persons present interested in said assessment', roll, decides to modify said primary roll. After hearing all persons interested in said assessment roll and being fully advised in the Premises, the Board finds that the several lots and parcels of land which have been assessed for said improvement have been benefited in the amounts named on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed.
