This being the date . set, hearings were had on the following improvement resolutions: Improvement Resolution No.2035 for the pavement of O'Brien Street' from Lincoln Way Vest to ,north property line of Elwood Avenue. ;Improvement Resolution No.2065 or the pavement of the first alley west of Miami street from Broadway to Indiana Avenue. Improvement Resolution No.208I for the ment in Lincoln Manor Third Addition, pavement and sewer improve Improvement Resolution No.2078 for the -avement and sewer improve' ment in Summit Place if th Addition. In -all of the above named improvement resolutions, noremonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land 111ble to be assessed for said itprovements will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City 1&rigineer. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said improvement resolutions, declaring same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification. In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders that on the I9th., day of June, 1928, this Board will receive, open and consider sealed proposals for the construction of said improvements. The Board further. orders that notices of said proposals shall be published in the South Bend News Times and Iribune on the 8th. , day of June and on the I5th. , day of June, I928� according to 1 auv. This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.2063 for the pavement of the west one half of Iioga,n Street from kishawa-I'm Avenue to the north end of the St. Joseph River Bridge. In the above na-~ed improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the. Board, bb ing fully advised in the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels _of land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City 1mgine er. The Board, therefore, takes final action on sadd improvement resolution No.2063, and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification. The Board, now orders that on the 25th., day of June, 1928,. this Board will receive, open and read sealed proposals for the construction of said improvement on the hest one half of Logan' Street under improvement resolution NO.2063 up to I0:00 A. Y. The Board further orders that notices of said -.roposals. shall be published on the • 9th.1 day of June and on the I6th. , day of Jime, I928, in. the South Bend Nevis Times and Tribune according to law. The Board signed the contract with Reith niley 6'onstructi.on Co. , for the pavement on Calvert Street from Direst line of Sar::rson _Street to Ernsperger St., under Improvement Resolution No.2009. Theamount of the contract being 15,094.20 for sheet asrhalt pavement. The Board also arproved the construction bond -fox same for 50% of the contract price signed b!r the Southern Lturety Co. The Board signed the contract with Reith Riley Construction. -Co . for the ravement on Calvert Street from Kline street to Ernsperger Street under Improve ment Resolution No.20I0, the amount _ of the cone pact being 16,588.62. The Board also. approved the construction bond for same for 50= of the contract price signed. by the Southern Surety Co. The Board atgned the contract with - filliston Construction �,o.l fmr the pavement improvement on the west one half of Johnson Street from north line of Msarquette Park Ist. , Addition to south line of Hamilton Otreet under Improvement Resolution No. 2067, the amount of the contract being I320.30. In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed, and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and rarcels, of land have been benefited in the amounts named on said assessment rolls. The Board, . therefore, declares said assessment rolls in all things ratified, confirmed and_arproved.and the. proceedings elosed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the. Department of Vinance. The Board approved .the driveway plan .at. 809 Thirtieth 6treet owned by R. iVelch. City, 2hgineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans, specifications and. estimate and the Board adopted a resolution for the ,local sewer improvement on ''lwood avenue between,Yedor.a Street and Huey Street under Improvement Resolution Ho..2084.. In the above named improvement.resolution, the Board -hereby orders that on the 27th. , day Of June, 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Tall at 7-I5 P. Y., to hear and receive remonstrances from all -persons _whose property may be affected by said improvement and will decide whether the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement, will be. equal to the estimated. cost of same as reported by the City. 1�rigineer. The Board .farther orders that notices of said hearing shall-ibe published in the South Bend,.News Times and Tribune on the 9th., day of June and on the I6th.., day_of June, 1928, according to law. Improvement Resolution No.2080 for the pavement.on.Pierce Street from Cushing Street to Leland Avenue. Improvement Resolution N9.2083 for the pavement 'on iradison Street from Palmer Boulevard to 'Rarriett Street. In both of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board, hereby orders that on the 27th., day of June, I928, this Board_ will..meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. 7%, to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be affected by said proceedings and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed• for said improvements will equal the estimated costs of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published in -the -South Bend News Times and Tribune on the 8th. , day of June and on the I5th. , day of June, I928 according to law and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law. 'G. 2ra.y, submitted partial estimate No.I..for the sewer improvement on "ilson Avenue from_ Greenlawn Avenue to Nineteenth 'street and on Nineteenth Street from Wilson Avenue to Washington Avenue in. accordance. with the terms of the contract between the City and 11occo-Simeri under Improvement. resolution 41 No.200I. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of_ $I,6I9.54. City 2gineer, H. G. (fray, submitted partial estimate No..IO, on material in glance in trench and on material not in -lace but along the line of sewer known as the North West Trunk Sewer System, in accordance with ,the terms of, the contract between the City and the J. J. Dunnegan Construction Go., contractors, under Improvement Resolution No.X774. The Board signed and approved same in. the amount. of $13I,340.95. City Engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted -partial estimate No.I for the pavement improvement on VcKinlEy Avenue from the east line of Greenlawn Avenue to the west line of Twenty -see and Street, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and �villiston Construction Co., contractors, under Improvement Resolution No.I923. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of I9,206.52. Attested; Meeting adjourned at 9 P.
