This being the date set, continued hearing was had on assessment
roll for the opening of Palmer Boulevard under Condemnation Resolution No.19I5. In
the above named assessment roll, the remonstrators appeared and the Board, being
fully advised in the premises , decides to rescind all action taken on said Condemna-
tion Resolution IIo.I9I5 and declares all former action taken on same null and voice
and the proceedings closed.
This -being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolutinn
No.2054 for the pavement of the first alley east of Clinton Street from Sample Street;
to the first alley north of Sample Street.�.:(.See files for copy of resolution,)
In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared
and a written remonstrance was filed. The Board being fully advised in the premises
finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed
for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the
Cites' Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to over rule said written remonstrance
and declares said improvement Resolution No.2054 in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved. The Board now orders said written remonstrance delivered to the
City Engineer for acheck on the resident property owners.
This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution
No.2062 for the pavement and sewer improvement of streets in Belleville I.st. , Unit
Addition. ( See files for copy of re solution, )
In the above named improvement resolution,, no remonstrators
appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in
the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable
to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated cost of same
as reported by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore, takes final -action on said
Improvement Resolution No.2062 and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved without modification.

No.2061 for the pavement of streets in Northwest Addition. (See files for resolution.;)
In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared
and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the
premises finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to
be assessed for said improvement are equal to the estimated cost of same as reported
by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore, takes f1ml action on said Improvement
resolution No,.206I and declares same in, all things ratified, confirmed .and approved
without modification.

Bids having been received for the construction of a local sewer in �;deen
Street under Improvement Resolution-No.2048, the Board this I.6th. , day of May,. 5928,
hereby awards the contract for said improvement to Alward DiJulio at his low bid of
527.00.
Bids having been received for the construction of pavement on Sample Stre
under Improvement Resolution No.2037, the Board this I6th. , day of May, 1928, hereby
makes a preliminary order for concrete pavement light traffic as the type of pavement
with which said street shall be improved and sets the 29 th. , day of May, I928, as the
time when said Board shall either pass on petitions for a change in the type of pavement
other than that specified in the preliminary order, award the contract or- reject all
bids.
. This being the date set, hearing yeas had on the assessment roll for the
local sewer improvement on the alley south of G$mpeau Street from Prances Street to
center line of Lot 5 in Turnock and Hartman's Sub. , under Improvement Resolution No.I96I
In the -above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no
• written remonstrance was filed and -the Board, being fully advised in the premises finds
that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts named on
said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, takes dinal action on said assessment roll
and declares same in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings
closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of
Finance.
This being the date set, hearing vaas had on the assessment roll for the
grading improvement of the alley west of Wilber Street from Istl, alley north of H-ambolt
to Elwood Avenue unu.er Improvement Resolution No.I960. In the aboire named assessment
roll, the Board finds that a contract was entered into for the improvement of that part
of the alley which was eliminated in the modified resolution and therefore, declares
• said assessment roll filed May Ist. , 1928, null and void and all action taken on said
assessment roll null and void.
The Board signed the contract with Williston Construction Compan for
the pavement, widening and lighting system on Chapin Street from south line of'Washing-
ton Avenue to the south line of Monroe Street running west from Chapin 'treat under
Improvement Resolution No.20II, in the amount of 52,072.76. The Board also approved
the construction bond of same for 50% of the contract price signed by the Inland Bonding
Company.

for the establishing of set back lines on Division 'Itreet, from the west line Taylor
Street to the east line of Olive Street under Set back or Condemnation Resolution No.206
In the above named resolution No.2066, the Board hereby orders that on
the 20th., day of June, 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at

r' estimate and the Board adopted a resolution for the pavement of the west 2 of Johnson
Street from the north line of Marquette Park First Addition to the south line of
Hamilton Street under Improvement Resolution No.2067.
In the above named improvement resolution, property owners
waived all objections on and in defense to any defect in said proceedings and to any
violation in procedure for the construction of street improvements as fixed by law.

construction of grade, curb and walk on Kentucky Street from _Zrumstown Road to Lincoln
Way West under Improver,lent Resolution No.20I7 in the amount of 2,567.80. The Board

The Board signed the contract with J. A. Barnes for the
construction of grade, . curb and walk of Orange ' Stre et from Birdsell Street to alley
west of Birdsell Street under Improvement Resolution No.20I8 in the amount of 284.00.
The Board also approved the construction bond. for same for 50% of the contract price
signed by the Yetrololitan Casualty Co.
The Board signed the contract with Albert Construction
Company for the pavement of Dorothy Street from south line of concrete pavement on
Prairie Avenue to Lwi.ng Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.20I2, in the amount of
7,648.I2. The Board also approved the construction bond for same for 50% of the
contract Trice signed bar Inland Bonding Co.
Upon the recommendation of 7m. F. walls, the Board
approved the installation of the following street lights:
I-2500 lumen light on Bertrand Street at the entranee
of Goodland Avenue at a cost of 35.00 per year.
I-2500 lumen light on- Bendix Drive- at }{enwood Avenue at
a cost Of 35.00 per year.
rove 4000 lumen light now located midway between Bronson
and Tutt on Main Street to the intersection of Main and Bronson Street anal place a
