Board met in regular session at 9 A. M. All members present.
Minutes of meeting held April 24th.9 1928, read and approved.
l ee Board approved the renewal certificate for the bond of W. S..
Lodyga in the amount of I, 000.00 signed by the Fidelity and Casualty �'o. , of New York.
The Board approved the renewal certificate for the bond of the United
Heating and Plumbing Co., in the amount of I,000.00 signe^ by the Fidelity and Casualty
Company of New York.

The Board approved the contractors bond of John Kiajawski in the

lotion No.I955 in the amount of :3I,8I5.92. The construction bond for 50� of the contract
price signed by Inland Bonding �'o. , was also approved.
Contract with.the Albert Construction company for the sheet asphalt
3 ppavement on Webster Street from Indiana Avenue to Prairie Avenue under Improvement
Resolution_ NoII942 in the amount of 4,628.24. The construction bond for 50% of the
contract price signed by Inland bonding o. , was also approved.
Contract with E. T. Tranberg for the pavement of the alley between
lots I29 and I30 in Cushing and Lindsays Addition from Tortage Avenue to the alley
west of Portage Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I949 in the amount of.478.58.
The construction bond for 50% of the constret price signed by United States fiddlity
and Guaranty 000, was also approved.
Cotract with Beith Riley "onstruction `'o. , for the pavement on
Scott Street from Indiana Avenue to Chicago, South Bend and southern R. R. under
Improvement Resolution No. I94I in the amount of 3, 566. 79" The construction bond
for 50 of the contract price signed by-'outhern •'urety �'o., was also approved.
Contract with ijeith Riley Construction for the pavement improvement
on -Scott Street from Calvert Otreet to Indiana Avenue under Improvement Resolution
No.I943 in the amount of I3, 697.29. The construction bond for 50°' of the contract
price signed by Douthern Surety `,o. , also approved.

In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board, hereby orders
that on the 23rd. , day of May, I928, t is Board rill meet in their office at 7-15 P.M.
to hear and receive remonst--ances from all persons whose property may be assessed for
said improvements and vill decide whether the benefits to the several lots and parcels j
of land liable to be assessed for said improvemen s will be equal to the estimated costs;';
of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board further- orders that notices of
said h aring shall be published on the 4th. , day of May and on the Ilth. , day of May ,
19,28, in ;,he New Times and Tribune according to law and that notices be mailed to
property owners according to law.
