This being the date, hearing was had on he Improvement resolution NIc.I995 for the pavement of Stanfield Street from the north line of Howard 6treet to the north - line of St. Vincent street. In the above named improvement resolution, no remonstrators appeared and no written L•emon.strance was filed and. the Board, being Fully advised in the premises, Finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land, liable to be assessed - for said improvement, will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Civil Engineer. Improvement Resolution No.I990 for the pavement of the alley west of Cottage Grove Avenue from Fuerbringer Street to alley north of Fuerbringer citreet. (see files for resolution.) In all.of the above named improvement resolutions, ro remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board,, being fully.&Avised in the -- �--�� ic'fca��czr��s premises, finds that the benftis to the several lots and parcels of land, liable to be assessed for said Improvements, will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said Improvement Resolutions numbers 1992, 1993, 1994, and I990, and declares same !. in all things ratified, confirme d and approved ;without modification. This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.I989 for the pavement of the alley north of Washington Avenue from Walnut Street to S utdebaker Street. f In the above named improvement resolution remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance was filed and the Board bein�r;fully advised in the premises ii finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assess' ed for said improvement are equal to the estin:_t­d cost of same as reported by €� the Sits T gineer. The Board, therefore, decides to ov:-r rule said remonstrance I� and declares same resolution o.I989, in all things ratified, oonfiremd and ?� approved without modification. The Board orders said written remonstrance referred'. j to the City Engineer for check on the resident pnnperty owners. L being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution io.I99I for the pavement on High; Street from Erring Avenue to Fairview Avenue. In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators: appeared but no. ( See files for copy of resolution.) .Improvement resolution No.2014 for the pavement of 36th., Street from Vishawaka Avenue to Northside Boulevard. (See files for copy of resolution.) In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders that on the Ilth., day of April, 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 P. 1.T., to -hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property is liable to .be assessed for said improvementsand will decide whether the benefits to the lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improve menu will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City gineer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published in the South Bend News Times and Tribune on the I?th., day of Karch and on the 24th., day of March 1928 and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law. This being the date set, hearing was had on the Assessment roll for the Condemnation (Easement) for the Northwest Trunk Sewer under Condemnation resolu- tion No.I769. In the above named assessment roll, Yr. Aaron Ii. Huguenard and J. W. Mclnerny, attorneys for the Chicago, South Shore and S6uth Bend Railroad Company, filed a written remonstrance against the award of damages for said raili-vay company. Mr. A. H. Huguenard read the remonstrance and expla nda same to the Board. Mr. E. F. Seibert, attorney filed a written remonstrance against the avra7d of damages for the Chicago, South Bend and orthern Indiana Railway Co. Yr. Samuel Pettingill, attorney for the J. ^J. Duxinegan Construction Company and John Gilmore superintendent of the Dunnegan Construction Co., together with City Attorney I. S. Romig were also present. In the above .named assessment roll, after h aring all persons interested in same, the motion was duly made and seconded and unamiously decided to modify.the assessment roll as the correction of names as follows: I. "Chicago, South Shore and South Bend Railway Co., ( Sometimes known as "hicago, South Shore and South Bend Railroad, a corporation) &.Joseph E. & 1"Lary E.-Kaley" changed to read "Chicago, South Shore and 6outh Bend Railway Co., ( Sometimes knovrn as Chicago, South Shore and South Bend Railroad, a Corporation, & Yotor Industries, Inc.,". Page I. 2. "Bendix Brake Co," changed to read 9 otor Industries, Inc." Page 2.
