Board r et in regular session at 9 A. 11#7, John J. Ole jn.iczak absent.
Upon the recommendation of pity En.f ipeer, T1. G. 7,7rayf, the Board granted Edward
piJulio, contractor for the serer on College 41treet between. El�trQodd Avenue and Keller
atreet, an extension until April I5th. , 1928, for completion of sane.
City engineer, K. G'. Wray, filed plans, specifications and estimates and the
Board adopted the following improvement res olut ions:
Pavement on 7ffilliam Street from Indiana avenue to Calvert atreet under Improve
ment Resolution No. I998. ( See files f or copy "of re so lut ion. }
Pavement of the alley north of Peashway Street from Lt. Joseph Street to
Foster Street under Improvement Resolution No,2002. (See files for copy of resolution.)
Grade, curb and walk on the west side of Pe3lOWs Street from Fairview Avenue
to Irvington Avenue under Improvement Resolution iuo.2003. (See .wiles for copy of
resolution.)
In all of the above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders
that on the 28th. , day of larch I928, this Board will meet in their office in the City
Hall at 7-I5 P. I.., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property
is liable to be assessed for said improvements and will decide whether the benefits
to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement vdll
be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer, The Board
further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the 9th. day of
March and on the I6th., day of March 1928 in the South Bend News Times and tribune
and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law.
The Board approved-Lthe ren=��*gal certificate for t he excavation bond of 1� tchel
..Kahn in the amount of 3I,000.00 signed by the Yet-ropolitan Casualty Insurance Co.
Claims amounting to 335.71 signed and approved by the Board.
