A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works & Safety was held on Monday, January 71 1957 at 10:00
A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved.

i' The firm of Clyde E. Williams & Associates, Inc. submitted to the Board a contract proposing to per-
form the engineering services for the Barrett Law Public Improvement Programs in the City of South Bend,
Indiana. Board hereby approves and accepts said contract and Contract is now place d on file in the dffi
j of the Board for reference.

Submitted to the Board is a contract between the Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of South
Bend, Indiana and Callix E. Miller, 234 Christman Building, whereby said Miller agrees to perform all
engineering and architectural services for a new Fire Station to be erected on Lot N. 2502 Ridgedale Addi
tion on the corner of Altgeld, York, and Twyckenham. Board hereby approves and accepts said agreement.
Notice to Bidders for construction of said Fire Station will be published on the 18th and 25th days of Ja:
ary, 1957 and bids will be received on the llth day of February, 1957 until 10:00 A.M. (CST).
The hearing on Vacation Resolution No. 2845 scheduled for today is continued until January 28, 1957.1;
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.M.(
