Andrysiak,_informed all persons present that this improvement will be carried stright through on the ten -;dear Barrell Law program, r and the Board will proceed in the matter of making award of contract accordingly. !i City Attorney, I. A. Hurwich, then reported to the Board, the filing of a suit during the past week for an injunction against the Chicago, South Bend and South Shore • ; Railway for alleged obstruction of the Circle Avenue area. After a full discussion of the matter, the City Attorney requested the Board to direct the City Engineering Department to prepare a report of all property boundary lines affecting Circle Avenue, and. it was so ordered. The Board next examined Police Accident Report No. 47476 T-2476 covering accident which occurred Friday, October 21, 1955, at 2_.4.5 P. M. involving city owned car, operated by Robert J. Shultz, and 1953 Cadillac driven by a laborer, Lincoln L. Weaver, 5710 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana. The matter was referred to the City Controller. The Board approved the installation of S-T-O-P signs at the following locations: Yukon Street, both sides, at Woodward Avenue Frances Street, both sides, at Cedar Street Frances Street, both sides, at Madison Street Hartzer. Street, sotthwest corner, at Olive Street. Contractorts Bonds, each in the sum of $1,000.00, were examined and approved for James C. Sherry -and Charles E. Stafford. There being no further business to come before the board, the meeting was adjourned' at 11:30 A. M. 11 ,! Attest: 7 6 Clerk SPECIAL MEETING October 27, 1955 In compliance with notification sent to all property owners of Bercliff Estates, a special meeting of the Board of Public Works was held at 7:30 P. M.,-Thursday, November 27, 1955, in the.Council Chambers of the City Hall, as a continuance of hearing and special meeting of Wednesday, October 19, 1955, in the matter of amended and re-de$.igned plans for sanitary -sewers for the Bercliff Estates. Members present were R. S. Andrysiak and I. A. Hurwich. Also present at this meeting was Lud Emelity, consulting engineer with Chas. W. Cole and Son. 0 11
