Maintenance Bond in the sum of $32,500.00 binding Rieth-Miley Construction Company;
`Inc., as principal, and Indemnity Insurance Company of North America, as su rety,°was
examined and approved by the Board.
Maintenance Bond in the sum of $19,483.70, binding Reed Construction Company as
!principal and Indemnity Insurance Company of North America, as surety, was examined and
approved by the Board.
Contractors Bonds, each in the sum of $1,000.00, were examined and approved for
the following contractors.
Steve Bertolan
Leonard F. Fry
Ignatius Golichowski
Ernest L.°Longway
George Swiatowy
There being no further business, the Board, thereupon, adjourned; the time being
i10:35 A.M. CST.

SPECIAL MEETING
August 31, 1955
A special meeting of the Board was called for 9:00 A.M. CST, Wednesday,
August 31, 1955, for the purpose of awarding contract to improve Eddy Street, from
Jefferson Blvd. to the center of Madison Street, under the 1954 General Street Improve-
ment Program. All members were present.
The Engineer's tabulations and recommendation showing the bid of the Reed
Construction Company to be the lowest and best bid, contract was awarded, accordingly,
and the Board proceeded with the approving.and signing of this contract, designated as
Contract No. 2, and the examining, approving and signing of Performance and Maintenance
Bonds.
There being no other business to come before the Board; meeting was there-
upon, adjourned.
