M. All members were present. In compliance with a, request from Mayor Scott received this date, Messrs. Tomlinson and Cripe were called before the Board to discuss garbage collection. The Board unanimously adopted the following order: In areas where there are no alleys curb pick up is no longer mandatory. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting and also special meeting were read and approved. Salary claims, in the total amount of $29,952.80, were . approved. The Board next examined and approved drawing submitted by the Portage Realty Cor- poration for the Hawthorne Drive, as proposed by Wm. S. Moore, Engineer. D E D I C A T I O N WHEREAS, a plat with dedication of streets and utility easements indicated thereon is now presented to the Board, to be known as EDISON PARK SECOND ADDITION, an addition to South Bend, Indiana, and This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public Works and Safety and recorded in Book # , Page , in the Recorders s Office of St. Joseph County. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets and utility easements dedicated to the public use in said plat are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana. Contract Supplement No. 1, applying to Contract P-6, American Vitrified Products Company,. Contractor, bearing date of May 20, 1954, Was next examined and approved by the Board. Contract Supplement No. 1, applying to Contract No. 6, Santucci Construction Company, Contractors, bearing date of May 13, 1954, was examined and approved by the Board.
