NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
WORKS THAT:
The Board of Public Works for the City of South Bend, under the power vested by the
City of South Bend Municipal Code Section 20-6, shall hereby allow neighborhoods to request
reduced speed limits designation on their streets, as well as allow the City s team of engineers,
street, and public safety officials to designate residential speed limits.
