A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was held at 10:30 A. M. on
Thursday, January 1q, 1952, before which Mr. Eugene Fattore of Fattore Company,
Center Line, Michigan, appeared and matters pertaining to the City's Interceptor
Sewer Contract with Fattore Company were discussed at length and in detail. All
members of the Board were present and in addition to IVIr. Eugene Fattore, Ralph
Moorehouse, Resident Engineer of the Fattore Company and a Mr. Monahan were in
attendance.
Mr. Fattore agreed to submit in writing a tentative report in detail con-
firming his statements to the Board of his plans for the early completion of the
Fattore's Company Contract and to include in this report a work schedule as
requested in a letter of the Board under date of January 15, 1952.
No other business coming before the board, the meeting was adjourned at
11:15 A. M. this date.

A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, January 21,
1952 at 10:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous -meeting
were read and approved. Claims of the following suppliers, in the amount of
$10,956.06 were approved and ordered paid:

TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT
Ernest Miller, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters pertaining to his
epartment were discussed. The matter of excavating work being donducted by Jack
edbetter at the point where Chippewa Avenue is crossed by the Pennsylvania Railroad
received special attention and it was agreed this work is to be done on Tuesday and
ednesday and one-half of the roadway is to be open to traffic at all times while
his excavating work may be in progress.
VACATIONS
A Petition for vacating Iroquis Street for 30 feet on each side of the street
rom Angela Boulevard north to first intersecting east and west alley, submitted by
oseph and Louise White, and Harold C. and Marcelle Higgins, was examined by the Board
and referred to the City Penning Commission.
The Petition of Frank and Helen Magrames to vacate alley between lots 317 and
64, 2nd Plat of LaSalle Park, was again considered and the required legal advertising
iscussed. The Clerk was directed to consult with Magramets attorney before proceeding
ith the legal advertisement.
