STREET DEPARTMENT: Melton 0. Brannan, Street Commissioner, was present and matters per-
taining to his department were discussed.
CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to
his department were discussed.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
at 11:15 a.m.

A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Thursday, May 31, 1951 at
6:30 P.M., C.S.T. Mr. Baer was absent. The meeting was called for the purpose of public
hearings on the following Improvement Resolutions:
No. 2665 WILBER STREET from the north line of Fassnacht Avenue to the southerly
dine of LaPorte Avenue
No. 2666 KENMORE STREET from the north line of Western Avenue to the south line
of Linden Avenue
No. 2667 WELLINGTON STREET from the north line of Western Avnue to the south line
of Linden Avenue;
Property owners whose property is effected by the above resolutionswill have a ten
(10) day period of which to file remonstrances against the improvement resolutions.

A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, June 4, 1951 at
10:00 a.m. All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and ap-
proved. Salary claims in the amount of $29,117.10 were approved and ordered paid. Clai

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: Contractors? Bonds were approved and ordered filed for Alfred
J. Gish; Dick and Dale Holcomb; Alvin Linn; and Ernst Sigamund Petzke.
A petition was received asking for the improvement of VINE STREET from 26th Street
to 27th Street by the construction of a pavement. This was referred to the city engineer.
A petition was received asking for the improvement of SHERIDAN STREET from Western
Avenue to Sample Street by the construction of a pavement. This was referred to the Citya
Engineer.
