The above bids were taken under advisement.
CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining
to his department were discussed.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned!

SPECIAL MEETING
April 11, 1951
A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Wednesday, April 11, 1951
at 10:00 a.m. All members were present.
The meeting was called for the purpose of awarding bids for the following:
STREET DEPARTMENT: The Board accepted the bid of Stockberger Seastrom, Incorporated,
or one l Mode SG-26S Skid Mounted Portable Steam Generator for the sum of $2,755.00,
their bid being, in the Board's opinion, the lowest and best bid received, subject to the
approval of the Common Council.
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: The Board accepted the bid of Rieth-Riley Construction Company
for the resurfacing of North Main Street from the North line of Western Avenue to the
South line of LaSalle Avenue for the sum of 843,469.50,their bid being, in the Boardis
opinion, the lowest and best bid received, subject to the approval of the Common Council.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
at 10:30 a.m.
