CEMETERY DEPARTYFT,NT: Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to
his Department were discussed.
Mr. Leszczynski presented his Annual Report for the year of 1950.
PARKING 11VIETER DEPARTMENT: Maurice C. Vennet, Auditor, presented his report for the week
ending January 6, 19 1.
There being no further business to come before the Board,

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved. Salary Claims in the amount
of $26,114.55 were approved and ordered
paid.

TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT: Ernest Miller, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters pertaining
to his Department were discussed.
Mr. Miller informed the Board that Leo Benson an employee of the Traffic Engineering
Department fell from a ladder while at �rork,fracturing his right heel and ankle.
ENGINEERING DEPART��FENT: Excavation Bonds were approved and ordered filed for John 1rti.
Rensberger;and, Slutzky Plumbing & Heating Company, Inc..
The S-L-A-B Ccnstruction Company filed a Performance Bond for the Door Remodeling at
No. 1 Fire Station.
DEDICATION
14HERE'AS, a plat with dedication of streets and alleys indicated thereon is now pre-
sented to the Board, to be known as Twyckenham Hills Section "E" ;_an..additiai� to South
Bend, Indiana, and
This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public Works and

NOG,, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
,of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alley and public places dedicated to the
.public use, in said plat are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on behalf
of the City of South Bend, Indiana.

STREET DEPARTMENT: Mlelton,0. Brannan, Street Commissioner, was present and matters per-
taining to his Department were discussed.
PAR:K.ING METER DEPARVNIIENT: Maurice C. Vennet, Auditor, presented his report for the week
ending January 13, 19 1.
A Report was received from J. C. Dickinson an employee of the Parking. Meter Departmen
indicating that he had slipped while on duty and injured his back.
CEMETERY DEPA RTYENT: Stanley Lesczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to
his department were discussed.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
at 11:00 a.m.
