A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, December 11, 1950
at 9:30 a.m. All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were, read and
approved. Claims of the following suppliers in the amount of $18,863.69 were approved
and ordered paid:

The Board approved plans
for a pavement on Chicago Street from Jefferson
to V��ashing•
1Iton Streets, and on Chicago Street
from Washington Street to Linden Avenue.
DEDICATION
WHEREAS, a plat with dedication of streets and alleys indicated thereon is now pre-
sented to the Board, to be known as Jodonl=s First Addition, an addition to South Bend,
Indiana and
This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public Works and
• Safety in Row # , Drawer # , and recorded in Book # , Page # , in the Recorder's
office of St. Joseph County.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to
the public use in said plat are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on be-
half of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
STREET DEPARTMENT: Melton 0. Brannan, Street Commissioner, was present and matters per-
-taining to his Department were discussed.
CEMETARY DEPARTMENT: Stanley Lesczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to
his Department were discussed.

PARKING METER DEPARTMENT: Maurice C. Vennet, Auditor, presented his report for the week
ending December 9, 1950.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
at 11:00 a.m.
