Minutes of the previous meeting were, read and approved. ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: Excavation Bonds for J. B. Fleck a nd Sons & Company; Hawblitzel Plumbing and Heating Company; Kahn's Plumbing -and Heating Supply Company, Incorporated; Emmet Shaul; Albert W. Smith Company, Incorporated; Emil C. Spromberg; and, Louis Stoll • 'Company, Incorporated were approved i and ordered filed. The Board approved plans for a pavement on Chicago Street from Jefferson to V��ashing• 1Iton Streets, and on Chicago Street from Washington Street to Linden Avenue. DEDICATION WHEREAS, a plat with dedication of streets and alleys indicated thereon is now pre- sented to the Board, to be known as Jodonl=s First Addition, an addition to South Bend, Indiana and This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public Works and • Safety in Row # , Drawer # , and recorded in Book # , Page # , in the Recorder's office of St. Joseph County. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to the public use in said plat are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on be- half of the City of South Bend, Indiana. STREET DEPARTMENT: Melton 0. Brannan, Street Commissioner, was present and matters per- -taining to his Department were discussed. CEMETARY DEPARTMENT: Stanley Lesczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaining to his Department were discussed. LJ PARKING METER DEPARTMENT: Maurice C. Vennet, Auditor, presented his report for the week ending December 9, 1950.
