na, that the Primary or Preliminary Assessment Rolls adopted by the Board on the llth dayll
of November, 1950 for the improvement of GRANDVIEPU COURT from the east line of Harrison All
Avenue to the west line of Cottage Grove Avenue by paving with a Class "C" Cement Concrete
Pavement, AND the ALLEY BETWEEN MICHIGAN STREET AND MAIN STREET from the south lire of
Stull Street to the north line of Broadway by paving with a Class "C" Celpent Concrete Pav'-
ments, be and the same is in all thins confirmed.

Dear Mr. Dayton. -
The Board of Public Works and Safety discussed the matter of safety precautions at thier
regular meeting held on Monday, February 20, 1950.
Pursuant to unanimous agreement of the Board, the Grand Trunk VIestern Railroad is hereby
directed to erect short -arm automatic gates at the grade crossings in South Bend, at
Logan Street and at Twenty-sixth Street.
