All members were present. The meeting was called for the purpose of accepting bids for the equipment for the Street Department. The bids having been tabulated, the Board made the following awards, these bids being, in the :hoard's opinion, the lowest and best bids submitted: Ben Mcdow, Inc. 5 truck @ $1,470.50 each less trade-in allowances, making atota.1 $6902. �O. 9 Korte Bros. 1 Chip spreaders @ $407.00 less trade-in allowance of $65.00 There being no further business -to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 A.M. The minutes were ordered changed to the effect that the one -hour period should be changed to two-hour periods on St. Joseph Street fromL'r�estern to Pionroe Street and on South Street from N_ichiga.n to St. Joseph Street, as soon as the plates and signs are ready, ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT_: A Petition was received asking for the installation of a sewer on Illinois Street from Ford Street to the alley South of Western Ivenuc. This was referred to the City Engineer for investigation. A petition was received asking for the installation of a sezrer on Chicago Street from Ford Street to the alley south of Western Avenue.
