STREET DEPARTMENT: This being the date set for receiving bids for a one ton truck for
the Street Department, the following bids were opened and publicly read:
Ben Medow, Non -collusion affidavit and certified check in the amount
South Bend, Indiana $177.67 accompanied bid
1 1948 Dodge 1 Ton, Model B-1-D-126, 126 inch Wheel Base Cab and
Chassis as per specifications w1496,40
Dodge.Fa.etory Build Express body with special equipment as per
specifications 280.25
L. 0. Gates Non -collusion affidavit and certified check in the amount o
South Bend, Indiana $160.00 accompanied bid
1 1948 Cheverolet 1 ton truck as per specifications1590.50

CEMQTERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertainin
to his department were discussed.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
at 10:00 A.M:

Sewer the following bids were opened and publicly read:

The bid of the Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago was
accepted for the above bond issue,
STREET DEPARTMENT: The Bid of the South Side Electric Company was accepted for the
(electric wiring for the Street Department Building for $4,300,00, and the bid of Ed.
• J. 1,,Jhite was accepted for the Plumbing, Heating and vent4ating of the Street 'Department
building at a price of $12,525.00, subject to the approva of the Common Council.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned
at 2 : 30 P.M.
