384 <br />I; Vacation Resolution No. 2565 II <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by II <br />the Board of Public Works for the vacation pf the second alley West of Main Street from <br />11Woodisde Street to the South line of the alley North of Woodside Street and the alley <br />;.IlNorth of Woodside Street from the ?,lest line of the first alley West of Main Street to � <br />ithe,Pennsylvania. Railroad right of way under Vacation Resolution,No. 2565. The Clerk of he <br />lBoard having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remonstrators having appeared <br />and,no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved seconded and, <br />liun.animously carried that the said resolution be finally adopted and the said alleys be li . <br />vacated. The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll showing thi <br />ilassessment of benefits and the award of damages to the surrounding properties, <br />Vacation•Resolution No. 2566 i <br />I This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by, j <br />the Board of Public Works for the vacation of the alley North of Elwood Avenue from Elmer it <br />Street West to the East line of the alley West of Elmer street under Vacation Resolution i <br />No. •2566. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no <br />remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the � <br />Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolution be finally, • <br />adopted and the said alley be vacated. The Engineering Departrrient,is directed to prepare;, <br />do assessment roll showing the assessment of benefits and the award of damages to the I <br />'surrounding properties. ;I <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Melton 0. Branna*, Street Commissioner, was present and matters <br />pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />Mr. John Pinkowski,,a street department employee, came before the Board to inform it . <br />them of a physical condition resolutiog from an old injury sustained while working in <br />the Street Department. No action was taken. <br />A letter was presented, from Mr. Brannan,, informing the Board of an injury to a <br />Street Department employee. one hay Kirkendall on June 30, 1948.
