All members were present. The Board met for the purpose of discussing taxi -cab stands petitioned for by The Veterans Cab Company and the A & A Flash Cabs. It was agreed to direct Mr. -Ernest Miller to establish a two cab stand at the Northwest corner of Colfax and A•ichigan Streets, on Colfax Avenue, to be allotted to the A & A Flash Cab Company and also a two cab stand on South Main Street directly in front of 114 South rain Street for the Veterans Cab Company. These stands were allotted on a temporary basis only. , BUSSES: -' A letter was sent to the Northern Indiana Transit, Inc. requesting them to comply promptly with the recommendations contained in a report dated February 12, 1948 made by Ernest H. Miller and Leslie Williams with reference to the routing of busses.
