Kline. The Board approved plans for remodeling a store front at 801-803 South iiich.igan for Carl Verhostra, Contractor, which plans included a 23 inch canopy extending over the city streets. The meeting was called for the purpose of discussing matters pertaining to the Street and Traffic Departments. After reviewing the bids for the sale of the street car rails removed from the City Streets it was the decision of the Board to accept the bid of the Hurwich Iron Company for the rails, their bid being the highest submitted. A petition for a traffic light at the intersection of Portage and California Avenue was referred to r. Miller.
