Northern Indiana Public Service Company does hereby consent and agree to the finding made by your honorable Board on the 23rd day of June, 1947, to the effect that the real estate which it owns is neither injuriously or -beneficially affected by the vacation of said alleys. A letter was received from the South Bend Parking Company informing the Board of a change in prices. Cukrowicz, Dewey 'jTilliford and -VV. R. Shaffner. Mr. Ray. S.'Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards of damages and the assessmentsof benefits in the mat per of the vacation of t};e alley South of Ford Street from Carlisle Street to the east line of the Nortq and south alley and from the 101est line of the North and South alley ,Pest to Phil- ipa Street under vacation resolution No. 2556., ,In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in the City Hall at ,ll:00 A.M., on the ^21st day of July, 1947 for the purpose of hearing and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said vacation, aryl. the Board further orders that notice of said hearing together with the amount of damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the pro-, perty owners by publishing some on the 3rd day of July and on the llth day of July, 1947 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the 'Ieekly I:Zirror. The Board approved plans for the installation of underground conduits and man- holes. on Lafayette Boulevard, Main and Bronson Streets for the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company. DEDICATION 1WIEREAS: A plat with dedication of streets and alleys indicated thereon, is now presented to the Board, to be known as "E4ison Park" an addition to the City of South Bend, Indiana; This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public "forks and Safety in Row -21, Drawer n4 and recorded in Book Pages r , in the Reccr dents office in St. Joseph County; NOI. THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public forks and Safety of South Bend, Indiana that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to the public use in said Plat, are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on behalfof the City of South Bend, Indiana. Andrysiak to draw up specifications for same and directed the clerk to advertise for one heavy duty grader, bids to be returnable to the Board of Public '=forks and S df ety on July 21, 1947. This being the date set for receiving bids for a building for the Street Department, the following bids were opened and publicly read: Thomas L. Hickey, Inc. Bid to erect a complete garage building in South Bend, Indiana accordance with plans and specifications 0307,465.00 H. G. Christman Const. Co.
