A regular meeting of the Board of Public 1,11orks was held on Monday, June 9,
1947 at 8:30 A.M. All membeaIs were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read
and approved, aalary claims in the amount of $25,622.33 were approved and ordered
paid. Claims of the yollowing suppliers in the amount of $2,223.57 were approved
and ordered paid

TAXI%,CAB STANDS: The Mercury Cab Company was granted permission to change the
oca zon 7 eir cab stand from 427 South Chapin Street to 430 South Chapin Street.
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: Contractorts Bonds in the amount of $1,000.00 each were
;apj5roveH and orderea filed for Herron Murray,,Henry J. Kush, Harold 0. Zander
land George Curtis.
STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Casimer Balka; Street Commissioner, was present and matters
;per azning o zs department were discussed.
This being the date set for receiving bids for the construction of a garage
and service building for the Street Department, and no bids having been received,
the Clerk of the Board was directed to re -advertise for bids for said building
to be returnable on June 30, 1947 at 11:00 A,TvT,
CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters

There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was
