The Board denied their request. Tir. T11iller having -made a report on taxi -cab conditions, the Board directed that a letter be sent to the Veterans Cabrompany informing them that inasmuch as cab stands are not allocated in relation to the number of taxi -cabs each company owns or has in service, but in .relation to the needs of the public to be served;. -the Board denied their request for additional cab stands because at the present time the down- town area is adequately served as to the location of cab stands.
