A egular meeting of the Board of Public works was held on Monday, April 7,
1947 at 8:30 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were
! read and approved. Claims totaling $299.63 were approved and ordered paid:

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT An Excavation bond was approved and ordered filed for the

Contractor's bonds were approved and ordered filed for Alex E. Ross and
Stanley Wachowi ak.
STREET DEPARUVIE' T: Mr. Casimer Balka, Street Commissioner, was present and matter
pertaining Eo is department were discussed.

There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was

TRAFFIC DEPAR7IENT: BE IT RESOLVED: That the Traffic Coranission be requested
o under _ a ke a iorough study of the problems arising out of on -street parking
by inter -city busses and the possibilities of an off-street terminal for inter-
city busses, and in connection with such study, to study the advisability of
off-street terminals for intra-city busses and taxi -cabs.
