!� A regular meeting of the Board of puolic ;`forks was held on mondey , July 15, 1946
at 8:30 A.T,I. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were ,read and
approved. Salary , claims in the amount of � 13, 265.88 tirere , approved and ordered paid.

Mr. 'Miller was authorized to attend the Governorts Safety Council to be held
in Indianapolis On July 17, 1946.

�i ENGINEERING DEPART,17-21TT: The Board approved the repair of a stairway at the South
i
East corner of T. cnigan and Washington Streets and authorized the Building Com- !i
l'missioner to issue a permit for said repair.

An Excavation bond was approved and ordered filed for George A. Aslin. II

i 11EIEREAS, a plat with dedication of streets and alleys, indietited thereon, is
now presented to the Board, to be known as "ITuessel Park Second Addition to the
City of South Bend, Indiana", and
This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public gorks ;
and Safety in Row ;'21, Drawer -; 4 and recorded in Book ; Page , in I
!the Recorder's Office of St. Joseph County,

TIIJREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Public :'forks and Safety of
South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alleys and public.places dedicated
,to the public use in said Plat, are hereby accepted and.approved.b-y sai,d.Board for
and on behalf of the City of South Bend, Indiana. I'
This being the date set the Board now meets to hear all persons interested in-
or whose property is affected by the proposed paving of Hamilton Street from the
;)!Vest line of Portage Avenue to the -lest line of Brookfield Street .under Improvement I
i�Resolution No. 2548.
After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised in i
!the premises, the Board decides that the benefits to the property liable to be
jassessed for the said paving are equal to the estimated costs of same as reported I,
by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action upon said resolution Ii
'ias originally adopted, and now confirms same. I

pertaining to his -department were discussed.
C=TERY DEPARTMENT: ir. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters
pertaining to Fls=epartment were discussed.
