The Board authorized Der. 1:51-iller to attend a traffic safety meeting at North-
western University on June 12, 1946.
BUS ROUTES: Mr. ':`fatterson and I:1r. Hahn of the I' orthern Indiana Transit Company
came"bef=re the Board to ask permission to make a trial run on the=,_E_ncoln 'tUay
;.lest-O?Brien-Beacon Heights run. They will have a 7', minute service to OtDrien
Street all day and all evening and a 15 minuteservi.ce on OTBrier_ Street and to
Beacon Heights all day and all evening. The Board granted them this permission,
ENGINEERING DEPAR L ,TENT: , r. Levy moved that the charges b_- the city for replacing
pavement and curb should be as follows: Concrete and asp halt pavement i 5.00 per
square yTard, bricl� pavement 3.00 ?per square yard and curb : 1.50 per linear foot,
Tlese prices to go into effect July 15, 1946. 1.r. Andrysiak seconded the motion
and it was Lmanirlously carried.

and=read on July 8, 1946.

pertaining to his department were discussed.
T,yr� Virgil Place of the C_-,ovm Development Company came before the Board to discuss
the batter of the dumping ground at Beckr s Lake, the Board sug ested that 1 r. Balka
and 1 r..Place get together and agree upon the best place to dump and the proper methods.

ing 1'70 in the 200 block of ".'.rest South Street.
A -Contractor's bond vaas a- proved and ordered filed for the-a.stbrook Corporation.
The Board approved the plans for the construction of an landergrourid conduit,
underground cable and aerial cable construction on Lincoln ;ay':7est from Olive Street
and associated territory to Bendix Drive for the Indiana sell Telephone Company.

iana, that it is desired and deeded necessary to:make the followin, described public
improve:, ent :
Improverzent Resolution No. 2548: The paving of Hamilton Street from the west line
of Portage Avenue to the -Test line of Brookfield Street.
All work done in the making of said described public improvement shall be in accordL
ance with the tennis and conditions of the improvement resolutions as n.irribered, adopted
by the Board of Public ':'orks, and the detailed drawings, plans, profiles and specifi-
cations which are on file and may be seen in the office of the Board.
The Board of Public 'forks has fixed the 15th day of July, 1946, as a date upon
v2aich remonstrances may be filed or heard, by persons interested in or affected by said
described public.improver2ent, and on said day, at 11:00 A.1d. the said Board of Public
171orks will meet at its office in the City Hall for the purpose of hearing an .d cor_sid-
ering any remonstPances whic_i may have been filed, or which may be presented, and will
hear all persons interested, or whose property is affected by said proposed improvement
and will decide whether the benefit that arill accrue to the property abutting and adja-
