i'Ir. Ray S. Andrysiak, City ngineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the
award of damages and -the assessment of benefits in the Natter of the vacation of the
alley L')outh of IiisharJ l_a Avenue from -,ouise Street to the Grand Trunk 'Iestern Railroad
under vacation resolution No. 2545.
In the above nmed assess-_-ent roll, th a^e '3oard hereby orders th at it will meet in they
City j-iall on the 3rd day of June, 1946 st 11:00 for the puriDose of hearing and re-
ceiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or a"fected by said vacation, and the

by the Board.

Condemnation Resolution No. 2547
This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll shot'°rin~ the award
of da.lages and the assessment of benefit's in the- matter of t_-)e conde_mation of sufficien
lots and lands for the opening and widening of 'iilber Street to a width of 60 feet from
the center line o-f' I;lv°rood Avenue to the center line of Feller Street under condemnation
resoltit.ion No. 2547.
In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrances appeared and no written re- i;
monstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of pu'olication of notices';
and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots
and parcels of land have been benefitted and da:iaged in the amounts shown on said roll.
Ther Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declared
same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the pro-
ceedings closed, and -the lots and lands vacated, upon receipt of the amount of benefit
assessments from the various property owners so benefi teed and all proceedings had with I'
reference to said lots and lands condermad are hereby sustained, 11

awaka and surrounding territory, requesting the installation of a traffic sgnal at
�j the intersection of Ironwood Drive and Lincoln ':`lay :last .t.U.S. 33), which was present
ed to the Common Council of the City of South Bend and the City of Mishawaka at
II their most recent meetings.
Since this intersection is under the jurisdiction of the State
Highway Commission of Indiana, I passe pis information along to. you for your consid-
