CITY OF SOUTH B!2, ?D, INDIANA: That it is desirable to vacate . the follow.-Lng; Sycamore Street north of LaSalle Avenue and The first alley running east and Lest. from Sycamore Street to the east race, which said alley is the first alley north of and parallel to LaSalle Avenue; . and The first alley east of Sycamore Street running north and south from LaSalle Avenue to the first east and west alley North of LaSalleAvenue. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Lots numbered consecutively from twenty-two (22) to twenty-nine (29), both inclusive, as shown on the recorded Plat of TIiller & Greents Second addition to the Town of Lowell, now a part of the . City of South Bend: also Lots numbered ten (10)0 eleven (11), and twelve (12) as shown on the orig- inal Plat of the Town of Lowell, and now a part of the City of South Bend. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 8th day of TElarch and on the 15th day of March, 1946 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the Meekly Tiirror. This Board at its office in the City Hall on the 25th day of March, 1946 at 11:00 A.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these proceedings. ENGINEERING DEPARTTiIEN.T: -A petition was received by the Board asking for the vaca- tion of the first alley North of Huron from Pulaski Street to the first alley ':Jest of Pulaski Street. This was referred to the City Plan Coission for investigation and report. DEDICATION '01HEREAS: a plat with dedication of streets and alleys indicated thereon, is now presented to the Board, to be known as "Anthony's Addition" to the City of South l Bend, Indiana; This plat and dedication is filed in the records of the Board of Public �lorks and Safety in Row '21, Drawer -#4 and recorded in Book Pages # , in the Recorder's Office of St. Joseph County; 240 NO1,V, TI-i EFORE, be it resolv.ed by the Board of Public Works and Safety of South Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to the public use in said Plat, are hereby accepted and approved by said. BUS ROUTES: the Northern Indiana Transit Company 'tHRe requested permission from the Board i • To of3` the additional bus on the North Side P:Iishawaka bus route which now runs through the Sunnymede area, as in their opinion, not enough -people ride the bus in ! that area to warrant keeping the bus on that schedule. A number of people in the Sunn ede area were ym present at the meeting to protest against taking this extra bus ' off, protesting that the figures the bus company submitted were incorrect. The Board discussed. the matter and then took the matter under advisement.
