All members �rere present. Minutes - of the last meeting were ap- proved and ordered paid. Salary claims in the amount of $8,211.50 were approved, and ordered paid. There were no claims of suppliers to be approved. TRAFFIC DEPARTTHEzIT: Mr. Ernest Miller:, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters pertaining to His epartment were discussed. ENGINEERING DEPAR rENTENT: All bids for the Fellows Street sewer and pavement under improvement resolution No. 2536 were rejected and the bidderts bonds and certified checks which accompanied the bids were ordered returned to the bidders. Excavation bonds were approved for Hawblitzel & Son, Joseph Hiznay and C. S. Randolph. These were ordered filed. STREET DEPA�`Iis�ENT: Mr. Casimer Balka, Street Commissioner, was present and matters pertaining to his department were discussed. CEHETERY.DEPARTMENT: Yr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton, was present and matters per ainzng to his apartment were discussed. ENGINE:-MING DEPARTMENT: The bid of the Niles Excavating Company having been accepted Jsubject to collecting the total amount in cash within 60 days, for local sewers on !Fisher Street from Kaley to Idleade, Arnold Street between Donald and Ewing, Donald Street from Donald to Oliver, Douglas Street between Donald and Ewing and Donald Street from Kemble to Douglas, .Oliver Street from Donald to' Ewing' and Donald Street lfrom. Oliver to Dou-las.under Improvement Resolutions Nos. 2540, 2541, 2542, and „2543, and the money for the above improvements not having been paid into the Con- trolled s office within the said 60 days, the bid of the Tiles Excavating Com- pargy is now rejected.
